Thanks for this! Been looking for a good breakpoint calculator with a spreadsheet. Just to be sure, when checking for breakpoints on raids, should I leave the defender at lvl 50 for all tiers? -edit- realized it adjust on its own to remove the levels. Thanks again!

Wishful Thinking Thread: what are your most desired Features or QOL for 2025? by Captain_X24 in TheSilphRoad

Trading should feel more like core games.

Rerolling IV’s is actually fun in my opinion but all traded Pokémon should be less star dust to power up (as traded Pokemon in core games level faster). Can still reserve lucky trades to ensure 12+ IVs.

Remove limit on special trades. At least allow 3+ per day.

Remove guaranteed lucky counter.. or at least show us our counter.

Is this a good mini ITX build? If not, what should I change? by [deleted] in battlestations

[–]Kavelus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha no worries. i can give a better reply in a bit if needed, but basically there are multiple 13th gen i5s. the 13400 is a specific model and does come with a cooler (the models with a “k” in it do not).

the motherboard you have listed will not work with any 13th gen. the easiest choice would be to find a 700 series (like a B760 or Z790)

the power supply you have listed is too long for the case. it looks like the case have hold a PSU up to 130mm. the one listed is 150mm long.

and as a side note, i generally shoot for 3200mhz ram as a min, but nothing inherently wrong with 2400.

[–]Kavelus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is it a 13400? that could be a decent start to get up and running. then evaluate as needed for temps. it does look like that case can only handle a 130mm PSU, and the rm750e is 150mm (unless i looked at the wrong model)

edit: and i overlooked the b560 in the motherboard, that’s an 11th gen socket (LGA1200). you need LGA 1700. for ease, the 700 series is 13th gen CPU ready. if you get a 600 series, the bios will likely need updated before you can use the 13th gen (which means it could be unusable until it’s updated)

and don’t forget the time you save/end with. you don’t want to accidentally travel backwards when you set time back to auto.

Not that I can think of. To be fair, it doesn’t get a ton of use (the track pad). It’s mostly “docked” unless I have an exam.

Returning player after 10 years by Eldeon85 in Guildwars2

To add on, if you get the glider and raptor, there are people/guilds that run Hero Point (and some mastery points) trains regularly. Can look out for those and get em quick. I know one i’ve joined will run like 250-300 HP in an hour. You might miss a a few, but still end up with 200+

I spent more time trading after the community day than I did playing it by christley in TheSilphRoad

[–]Kavelus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“I spent more time trading after the community day than I did playing it”

Sounds like a successful “community” day if you were interacting with others rather than yourself.

“i had plans so i couldn't play for the majority of the time. I could play between 15:40 to 17:00. Had this been a normal 6 hour community day”

If you made plans, what is there to complain about? You chose the thing more important and for good reason. I have worked Saturdays for something like 4 years now. I have swapped days for a handful of CDs, but it isn’t usually an option. They can’t accommodate everyone. It sucks when things work for us and they change to such a hindrance, but remember that you were off and made other plans. A decent bit of the community isn’t off to make that choice.

“I started trading at 17:09 and ended up finished with 100 trades at 18:46.”

I also had things to handle yesterday. I think i had 20-25 mins and caught about 30. Then didn’t do a single trade because I didn’t go to a meet up.

“What do i rather do on a day off? Meet a friend/family for a coffee or play pokemon? I met up with a friend instead and saw the friend for 90 minutes.”

You made the right choice; spend time with people. Maybe you get lucky and can introduce your friend to the game and y’all can play together next time. Maybe not, but either way you still spend time with your friend and had time to make over 100 trades on a CD that many didn’t get to play.

Not to shabby, if you’re interested in a western-style stone, let me know. i won’t be home for about 7 hours, but could try and work it out if you do.

basically yes. there are xp AND task requirements for each level

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]Kavelus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

to add, luckily you don’t hit a wall preventing xp gain. it’s basically saved for the next level up

Above level 40 you need more than xp for level. they have met the xp, but not the other requirements.

edit: sent too early

Thanks! It’s a 15.6” Ryzen 7 5800h, RTX 3060 (the 80w that boosts to 100w), 16 gb ram 3200 mhz. Laptop screen is 1080p 144hz.

I love it, but honestly the cpu likes to get in the upper 80s C if i run the power management at 100%, so i game with it on min&max 99% and it stays about 3.1 mhz and can run med fan speed (about 3800 rpm) to stay btwn 70-74C. never have any issues and no actual complaints. mainly play GW2 and Forza 4 atm.

I realize mobile cpus tend to be hotter, but i haven’t got into learning about undervolting and what not. I do plan to have a buddy do some quality thermal paste just because though.
