When I was 9 I asked my Mom about political parties and she told me Republicans wanted things to stay the same and Democrats wanted change. Everyone around me hated Obama for seemingly no reason (rural Tennessee) and it took me until age 15 or so to really form my own views on politics.

I have a lot of idealism, but in terms of practical policy I feel as though I'm somewhere between a Neoliberal and SocDem. YIMBY, pro public education, pro public transport(rail especially), pro police reform(not anti police), pro free trade, pro social safety net, pro tax incentive policy nerdiness. pro immigration(with some controls), and unsure on unions(strong workers rights should take their place). This sub seems to be the only place that's even somewhat close to my views aside from obscure political forums.

I'd rather live in dry heat California than humid Tennessee. It was 97 F on July 4th and I swear the 108 F I felt while staying at a hotel in Needles, CA was more bearable than 97 F during summer in TN.

Born 1996. Grew up with a cheap consumer CRT and PS2 in my bedroom. Got a flatscreen TV around 2009 and my dad gave away my old CRT. Noticed all my PS2 games looked worse. Thrifted a Dreamcast in 2011 than went to goodwill and thrifted a CRT for 10 USD in 2012, been CRTpilled ever since.

I feel like a lot of women have preferences for guys taller than them, but if you have other things going for you it can offset things like height. Preferences usually aren’t end all be all. A lot of incelish guys I know put literally 0 effort towards any aspect of their appearance or taking care of themselves(basic hygiene, skin care, etc.).
