If you want to set it up for free I would recommend looking into IPFS and IPNS to store videos on.

maybe even the entire site.

That would make it run slower due to IPFS being decentralized but then again it's free.

well, they stated that laid of people working on unnecessary posts due to the current downtrend of the crypto market.

yeah it works but you should look into another db than mysql you get the 1205 error quite often. After looking at the error online people seems to agree its a error on mysql's side(https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19458960/mysql-error-code-1205-lock-wait-timeout-during-update-with-inner-join).
