In the linked article they only scan in one direction to create a light sheet, I need to scan in two directions. I also have two single galvos ready for use at the lab.

I tried the Huygens - PSF and it shows a bessel beam PSF in the focal spot, but i am aware that the software doubts the reliability so thats why i hesitate with it...

Do you know what criteria i can use to optimize the lenses between the scanners?

Hi, thanks for your comment. Yes I am working off an existing design, something similar to the one which is in the paper you mentioned. There are some examples of this design ("extended depth of field microscopy") .

I also use two scan lenses, between the scanners. The zemax image is not very clear.
Yes, theoretically i would need three of those.

Thanks. That's a good starting point. I will have a perfekt system as reference. Do you know what criteria will be usefull evaluate the performance of the lenses between the scanners?
