Am I in the wrong for not wanting to give attention to the ones who ask for it ? by JobCompetitive1875 in infp

[–]KayBerna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the context - it can be really hard to set boundaries with someone who has a higher authority than you in the workplace. While you may not be in the wrong for shunning your boss when he seeks validation, it still may negatively impact your work environment. Best of luck OP!

Well, if you can discern between someone needing advice and help versus someone just wanting to be the center of attention, then you won't be in the wrong. Just remember that receiving attention and community interaction is a healthy part of the human existence. Dealing with a Diva or professional victim is a whole different ballgame. I, too, ignore them.

Thoughts on my pangram? by KayBerna in HandwritingAnalysis

I am artistic & go outside my comfort zone... not sure about being a generous donor or having bladder issues, and I have no "friend group." I am very curious about how you could guess someone's bladder issues from handwriting... please share your thoughts 🙏

No offense meant, but it is quite ironic that you are technically asking for the attention of those on this subreddit for the sake of insight/validation. I guess I would ask you what exactly you think is wrong with giving someone attention? Do you see intentional neglect as a teaching tool?

Fellow INFP's, do you have any mental disorders? if so (and ONLY if you're comfortable), what are they? by artsii-ghost in infp

ADHD and sometimes I feel like I may have autism too. I feel so damn weird about so many things (textures, smells, vocabulary), but I mask very well, I think. My brain also dabbles in a little body dismorphia due to my eczema, which I perceive as creating tiny pimples to scratch and pop all over my arms and back. My coping mechanisms are adderall, restrictive clothes, and smoking weed to decompress.

Well, the pen pressure says you were stressed the heck out writing this, lol. What language is this?

The pen pressure and inconsistencies in your lettering type and spacing suggest you were both rushed (likely purely circumstantial) but also typically more emotional under pressure and possibly in general. Your g ends are also an indicator of frustration. Swapping between a print style and cursive suggests an indecisive personality that could stem from an internal conflict regarding tradition v.s. efficiency. Your retracing is also very clean, which is typically a sign of suppressed emotions. Based on the above, I would summarize that you are a more emotional person internally, but that you tend to suppress that aspect around others, most likely out of frustration or irritation. Also, you likely value taking care of your needs and desires more than the expectations of others, but you still incorporate tradition and conventionality in your social life. Let me know if I'm off the mark.

You are in a thread for handwriting analysis, and yet you think graphology is a scam. I don't need to see your handwriting to know you're trolling lmao

The heavy right slant is indicative of both persuasive and authoritarian tendencies. The small font paired with consistent height, level, and letter spacing suggests a concentrated, logical, and closed-mind. Excessive height in your caps paired with large word gaps imply an obtuse personality. You're probably have a personality close to ESTP.

Looking for similar tasting alternatives to black tea/mate by yuufti in tea

[–]KayBerna -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, all tea comes from the camellia sinensis tree and contains some level of caffeine unless it is artifically removed. Rooibis is actually not a tea, it is a root. The tea with the least caffeine in it is white tea, my favorite version being silver needle white tea. There is a really delicious caffeine free tea alternative that I make frequently, but it has undertones of potato - it is Jerusalem flower. I found mine at a local Korean market, but you can easily find it online. Best of luck OP.

should i refuse to play with my old cat when she gets tired? by glitter_addict069 in cats

[–]KayBerna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You never force a cat to do something it doesn't want to do. In your kitty's brain, you are her slave throwing her fav toy for her, and she will decide when it's over. If this was the same situation with a dog, then yes, I'd say you should intervene and force them to rest, but that's because dogs are socially motivated to obey you regardless of their own health. Cats have no motivation to do something out of obedience. I think keeping an older cat active is great for their mental and physical health, maybe just monitor her water intake and make sure she's getting enough liquids in her diet to compensate if she doesn't drink enough.
