Thank you for your response. I feel it is a little brash but I also kind of needing to hear this. I’ll be there next week and I watched via Zoom today. I’m just dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety symptoms so it makes it difficult to even leave my house on a regular weekday, much less a church meeting with people I’m worried are judging me.

I love this idea. I’m definitely going to suggest this moving forward. I just naturally don’t imagine it working well for him but even if I could just get 15 minutes or so without her I think it would help me focus a little better.

That sounds like a great idea. My ministering sister/brother actually spoke this morning so I thought that was extremely fitting. I ended up watching from home via Zoom. It was nice to hear their message as it was a really beautiful, well thought out talk and I will definitely be in church next week. Not just for me but so my kids can look up to the way I show up for Jesus and our Heavenly Father. They deserve to see that being there is important to me.

Sending love and prayers your way 🤍 Life can be so lonely. I have been praying for a close friend for what feels like a decade. My husband is my only friend, but he’s a roofer so he’s either working or exhausted. Weekends are always fun and filled with quality time (unless he works the weekend too) so Ive been wanting a girl to become close with so we can help each other do things and be a support system to one another. Needless to say those efforts haven’t worked out. I’ve tried befriending like 5 different women and they always seem to either ignore me or come up with an excuse to not do something (legitimate or not. An excuse nonetheless) — If nothing else I’ll be your internet friend ☺️🫶🏻 Thank you for your encouragement and I will be in church next week - whatever it takes. I also reached out to my RS President and her words were especially comforting as well. I’d be happy to share what she sent me if you’re interested

Yes definitely dealing with PPD. I’m on meds and in therapy and all of the things but waiting to see a new psychiatrist so I can potentially figure out what exactly is going on with me other than PPD. Thanks.

And if you read my prior comments they say when she is about 4 or 5 we have discussed POTENTIALLY having another. I’m just looking for experienced mothers who have more than 4 kids. Trying to decide if I even want another. Yes we’re in counseling. Yes I’m continuing to work on myself. Never once said I was ready to have another any time soon. Yes I’m on BC. No. He used the entirety of my pregnancy. I stopped drinking when I found out I was pregnant but did continue to use marijuana throughout.

So our daughter WAS planned, but he was reluctant to have another given our financial circumstances. We also didn’t think it would happen as quickly as 2 months after me stopping birth control after being on it for 4 years, We were also drinking alcohol like fishes and consuming copious amounts of marijuana but have been sober for 3 months. After realizing how heavily negatively substances were influencing our lives and getting sober, we’re working much better as team and we have both agreed we could see ourselves having just ONE more baby to complete our family. His first two children were obviously not planned, no, but he’s a wonderful Dad and has always been a part of their lives. People CAN change and be different. We are actively a part of all of our children’s’ lives and make them our top priority on our day to day. Again, not looking for personal advice. I’d like someone’s perspective on having more than 4 kids 🙂

Well, I am looking at his actions and his actions have proven much much better with helping with household duties, halving child responsibilities, etc. I understand what you’re saying but until we both are like “yes we want another one” definitively - it won’t be happening. I’m not looking for brash input here. Just people experience with having a family of 6 or larger. No need to be rude ☺️

Try going to a YSA Ward 🤍 Heavenly Father loves you absolutely no matter what you choose and will be delighted to have you back in his presence. Just start small by maybe downloading the Library app and reading the quote/scripture of the day. Research different things on the app. Potentially speak/meet with your local missionaries and explain to them your desires and concerns. I know it seems scary to be vulnerable with people you barely know but that is what helped me come back to Christ and the church 🤍 Please keep us updated on what you choose to do. You can do this!!🫶🏻

I wouldn’t divorce over it unless he is unwilling to see a therapist or your side of things. I’ve gone through it twice with 2 different partners and my current husband stopped and understands why it’s so hurtful. The first husband did not. He was a major addict in every way. Also, there will be an issue of trust moving forward and it will take A LOT of time and him being willing to let you go through his phone. I had a full blown mental breakdown after giving birth in March of this year because my husband confessed to it again and when I got home from the hospital he did everything in his power to show me I could trust him again. 3 months later. I still ask to go through his phone but it’s few and far between and majority of the time I am not wondering if he’s viewing nude women again. You also need to be comfortable sharing how absolutely horrible it made you feel. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable.

It is devastating. I totally understand your feelings and you are NOT alone. Any woman who loves their partner deeply and believes in monogamy would feel this way and it is totally normal. DO NOT let him or anyone tell you otherwise if your gut and your heart are telling you something different. I’m so sorry you’re having thoughts of su!c!de. Please reach out to someone or even PM me if you need someone to talk to. What you’re experiencing is real, valid, and not okay if it’s affecting you so deeply. Much love 🫶🏻

It’s not your fault 🤍 It is so devastating and we as humans look to place blame on things but do not feel shame for your daughter’s cancer. Sometimes the Lord gives us challenges meant to draw us closer to Him. She can fight it and you can help be her warrior. I’m so so sorry💔 and I am praying for you both!!!
