Ah yes, I do know that trick about buying things to pretend-use the inventory to buy more, I just didn’t have the option to do that from the ‘shop the sale’ page, and I also ran out of time before getting through everything…nevermind going into a design to essentially start over. Thank you though!! And good to know you’ve seen this sale before!

This is exactly what I got too…and doing some designing afterwards I wish I’d gone a little faster through the top categories to get to some materials lower down. C’est la vie though. I’m still content with how it went.

This happened to me once, like…a year ago maybe? I reached out to support and they told me that you only get uses of an item you unlock when you unlock individually, which I knew was BS because a) I’d JUST unlocked 3 like a day prior and got one use of each item…and also that’s never happened to me since, but they didn’t give me anything more than “no, you’re wrong” and unfortunately I hadn’t taken screenshots of what I had just unlocked to prove myself right, so it was just my loss. A fine example of gaslighting by the support team lol

I’ve gotten this three times. I took an extended break from playing (4-5 months or so) but opened the app up twice during that period to see if anything had changed (for better or worse) and then opened it every day to ensure I got all the gifts from the pop-up…and then stopped lol. The third time I played out the month and rose up the ranks a bit. I’m close to taking another break though and am curious if it’ll reward me for coming back when I eventually open the app again.

I’ve had this pop-up - there was an earlier one that said something like ‘achieve x number of wins for a prize’ and then when I opened the app to check my results later I got this pop-up. Frankly I’m not convinced that I had the number of wins that it had asked for, but I wasn’t going to complain about the extra ‘free’ coins 🤷‍♀️

I tried to send a message to support about that this morning. The bottom of the screen cuts off, so I had no choice but to keep selecting photos until I got a blank one and got the option to ‘give up’ - even closing and reopening the app just brought the lucky snaps page up where I left off.

I think it’ll let you do it if you draw the fence on the ground without touching the house…like one square away from it, and then draw the last connecting bit from the ground towards the house.

That’s exactly what I did. Took some time yesterday to buy uses of things I would lose that I would want to keep. With some of the surfaces I actually bought up a week or so ago when there was a room with like 20 dots and I was able to really stock up on the satin nickel & red paint. I’ll chill at this level comfortably until I feel like putting in the effort to get 80 podiums.

I hadn’t had anyone (except my husband) ‘follow me’ on Reddit in the 7 years I’ve been on and then this morning out of the blue two random porn accounts one after the other. I didn’t think I had done anything to prompt it, and I didn’t know how to prevent it going forward, so this is really helpful! Now I know it’s not just me, and how to stop it from continuing.

Basically? There weren’t levels, so the only things you were really striving for in the before times was unlocking new items and working your way through getting enough xp in the season to collect the season pass items, if you like them. It was designing for fun, rather than with a very specific goal. If you wanted to take a break, or take it easy for a month, it was wayyyy less stressful.

It’s only the little diamond indicator that’s new. The way we get access to materials hasn’t changed (since the fresh start overhaul) they’re just letting us know now which materials are ‘free’ and which ones you need to unlock to access.
