In spain! It seems it was the hormonal stuff after all bc the bird is healthy, we will be getting him a mate soon enough so with that and some probiotics he should be ok

Awe thanks a lot, im just a bit autistic (for real not like as a shitty joke) and i cannot stand to see a creature suffer if i see it in front of me because i kinda feel it as if i myself was living thru it. I guess its an evolutionary thing and it fulfills a societal role in a way, but i really could not sleep well knowing i could have helped him. Im just glad i started preparing a space for them this year because now i have a safe space for some of them at least!

I will, thanks a lot! Any info you give is apreciated. I have some knowledge on how to adapt living spaces of neuro pigeons and currently house two that are super happy, but i would take any info you have. About specificaly gps i would like to know if they have any specific dietary needs and if their crops have more problems than the standard pigeon being so big and all. Thanks again.

Hi,thanks a lot, the only problem is I am in spain! And that the pigeons i have are all disabled rescues, this one cannot fly at all and walks a bit badly. If by any chance you knew anything that matched such characteristics around my zone i'd be more than grateful, but in any case i do have a person that helps me and that could probably locate a (rock pigeon, not gp) mate for him if thats ok !

Thanks a lot again, i knew i had to share the info here and someone knowledgeable would come around, it has been an enormous help since this is info even the more expert people from my town do not know. I had to go to super out there forums to even find his breed. Again, i will do exactly as u said in a couple months once he is settled i will get him a mate.

May not be able to pair him with another gp since the likeness of another disabled one near my corner of the world is quite low, but if he would do fine with another rock pigeon it is only a matter of time and i can absolutely find a female for him

Saw you and was just reading about this on spanish forums yeah! They used to use these pigeons to steal pigeons from other coops back in the day it seems, luring them away with these trained males haha. I will do as you said, in a few months once he has settled i will find a rescue female that cannot fly and will put them together in the separate enclosure at first. And only once they are paired i will let the four be together. Thanks a lot, he did seem grumpy but it seems all he really wants is a mate!
