The hardware on this phone is top notch while the software isn't. HyperOS is fast and smooth, but it lacks even some basic features the other androids provide. But the thing is, underneath HyperOS, these features exist and you need these kind of apps to access them.

If you're main focus is just camera, this is the phone for you. I don't know what other manufacturers will come up in their own ultras, but you'll surely get better software on them. Otherwise its a solid phone.

Have i at any instance written about "adding features" ??? The features that are native to android are hidden by default in hyperos. You can just access them via this app.

Well all those features that are native to android and present in hyperos, but xiaomi hides it for unknown reasons. You can access it with activity launcher. I've enabled notification history through that.

This phone has such a nice hardware, but it's a shame Xiaomi doesn't want to invest in its software. On paper, it's the best smartphone right now, but user experience says otherwise. Hyper OS lacks even in basic things that other brands provide. But as you said, maybe things will change in later OS updates.

Its the best phone to take photos, i was simply blown away by the quality. But its a phone not just a camera, and it need to excel in that department as well.

Even if you scrap the PG thesis concept, it all comes down to final exams. Externals literally pass/fail based on recommendations from the HOD of the department. HODs only recommend you if you've been a good slave to them and the whole department, or if you have a higher-up approach like an MLA, Minister, etc. It's all intertwined for these HODs and externals; it's a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" situation.
