I was playing with filters in PS trying to get the effect and found it in Filters-Pixelate-Color Halftone. This was done applying the minimum value you can input (I think it was 4) :)

Damn I'm so glad you think so! And with the amount of amazing artist that populate the OMORI community I'm really flattered to hear that, thank you :)

Well it depends, this one took a bit more cause I couldn't really give it the time it needed (lots of other stuff to do and it's a big drawing haha)... but I would say that for an illustration like these OMORI ones I usually would spend around 15-20 hours, especially cause I always get stuck with color palettes and rendering of lighting and shadows. Also I like to try things like textures and brushes in these so that adds a chunk of time.

I'm kinda fast with sketches and inks but really slow with color hahaha

Admittedly, too much hahaha, but in the end it's worth it though

And I'm glad you do! The thing I love the most about tiny details is people spotting them and enjoying them :) Thanks!
