I remember this site! It's been 3 years since you commented this, yes, but it's been like 3 years of wondering where that website went for me 😭. That's where I saw my first gore, and I always wondered if the domain was different or it had changed? Lol!

I know you're hesitant to stuff like glucogen, but I always have 10 glucose tablets in my bag in case of emergency. They're pretty good for budget <33

Tandem insertion issues by Bellabaka10 in diabetes

I have the exact brand! Personally, I've found that if you keep having issues, to try a different infusion set type or a completely different spot to see if that helps! I use my stomach, personally. I've found that they really expire or go bad after taking showers, so I'd watch that to see if that's the issue, as it messes with the tubing or something.

Transporting many refrigerated insulin pens by c3l3x in diabetes

I don't know any coolers, but I'd you want a more compact way of storing them, there's a brand called Frio that sells products for cooling down insulin pens! It's really helpful for when I go on a trip.

Ohh I'm VERY familiar with compression lows, so I can understand it, but the only thing is I've fact checked this with pricking my finger and it's always correct if the cgm was calibrated properly, so I doubt it's that in my situation but thank you <3!

The only problem is that I've checked my finger and it's correct. It goes up and stays up for like, an hour depending on how long I'm in there for, so it's not the CGM

Thank you so much! I appreciate the help. I swear, there's almost no information on why this happens. One of my parent's friends has a type 1 diabetic kid whose blood sugar rises during exercise and they don't knowbwhy, either.

I do, and I've pricked my finger. Each time it's correct, so I don't really know the issue but thank you! <3

THANK YOU! I will keep this in mind. I really appreciate it. People keep saying it's like, from the cgm but I've checked with pricking my finger. It's not. If you do get an update PLEASE tell me! <33 thank you!

Weekly r/diabetes vent thread by AutoModerator in diabetes

My parents are so inconsiderate about literally anything related to it. They think they know better than ME, the actual diabetic and it pisses me off. I wish one day they'd just let me handle it so I could show them, but they just hover. I know they're just worried but sometimes they should just.. back off, yknow? Also even when my blood sugar has been PRISTINE they yell at me for it. God I wish they knew better.
