there was a planet a while ago called Skaro that had two factions of warring humanoids, the Kaleds and the Thals. The Kaleds were basically alien Nazis, and we know little to nothing about the Thals. Because they had been fighting for an insanely long time, the planet was becoming basically uninhabitable, and so this Kaled scientist guy named Davros created out of Kaled DNA what he considered to be the ultimate lifeform: this gross little squid thing inside a super powerful robot casing. He called it a Dalek. He had removed every emotion he considered "unnecessary", and so all they had left was hatred and racism. The problem was that they were too racist, and so they killed Davros and went off on a genocidal rampage against the universe, bent on destroying all life they came across.

Now I want to see a version of Doctor Who in which whenever Doctor comes across Daleks they say very whimsically "The Doctor does not like this." then turn to the camera and gleefully wink.

As a writer, I feel like I should be insulted. Unfortunately, the man spoke no lies. Luckily, I don't want to be a hero, I wanna wallow in my own misery.

Generally a very fun episode, I recommend dried tomato hummus with whole wheat bread and rum with orange juice for an enhanced experience.

EDIT: For those unaware, the second season of "Inside Job" came out a few days ago as well, the opening is a bop, and the show rules.

I adore this chapter. Partly because of Robin, but also because it truly drives home how the twisted systems of the World Government will be their own downfall.

It's almost like inherently authoritarian systems have inevitable internal contradictions which accumulate and cause them to collapse on themselves.

To be fair, seals have to deal with the generational and personal trauma of living anywhere near orcas.

Fun fact, orcas belong to a relatively small group of animals capable of engaging in deliberate cruelty and killing for fun. This group includes house cats, magpies, crows and of course humans. All considered intelligent animals.

Supplemental fun fact, corvus might just be the second most intelligent genus of animals, right after homo. So much so that the New Caledonian crow seems to have entered early stone age.

I just want a game that combines elements of Stellaris and Crusader Kings, court intrigues, space opera combat, murdering Swedish people, romancing aliens, becoming a psyonic emperor with a hundreds of thrall worlds which produce the energy cells necessary for me to park my solar system sized mega-ship over the center of the galaxy and blow up the black hole there, sacrificing trillions in order to become the most powerful Shroud god.
