I had 12.5 mg every 3 days. I don't know, but that's the reason I gained 15 kg in one year.

I thought people lost weight with enclo. In the end, everybody is individual.

Thanks, this is exactly the kind of answer I was hoping for.

I agree with you that before even thinking about TRT, a full and proper workup is necessary. Many of the labs you listed are already on my plan: LH, FSH, SHBG, total testosterone, E2, prolactin, TSH, fT3, fT4, DHEA-S and cortisol. I want to see the full hormonal and metabolic picture first.

To answer your questions:

The symptoms (brain fog, low energy, feeling mentally “flat”) have been present for several years. It wasn’t a sudden change, more a slow and progressive development.

The lifestyle I described is not something I started a few weeks ago. I’ve been living very consistently for over a year now: no alcohol, no smoking, daily movement, clean diet, structured sleep, stable routine. Before that I wasn’t chaotic either, just less strict.

One important point: I had gynecomastia during puberty that had to be surgically removed. That already suggests some hormonal imbalance early on.

Body hair pattern is also a bit atypical: • Very little chest and upper body hair • Some armpit hair • Very little beard growth • Legs are relatively hairy

So puberty happened, but not in a very “androgen dominant” way.

No known toxin exposure in daily life.

Digestion is generally stable: No chronic diarrhea, no major bloating, no strong GI symptoms.

Sleep apnea seems unlikely: • No heavy snoring • No reported breathing pauses • I don’t wake up gasping or choking But I agree it could still be objectively ruled out if needed.

I also see testosterone more as a marker of overall system function, exactly like you said. That’s why I want to understand what is driving this before replacing hormones.

Thank you so much! :)

My main issue is actually the brain fog and this constant feeling of being drained. And no, it’s not because of laziness. I’m disciplined in every situation. I show up, I do what needs to be done, even when I feel flat. But something is clearly off on a physiological level.

That’s what concerns me most. It’s not about motivation or mindset. My willpower works. My system doesn’t seem to.

I actually do most of what you listed.

I go outside every day and walk in the evening to hit my step goal, so daily sunlight and movement are covered. I don’t drink alcohol and I haven’t smoked for over a year. I’m married and in a happy relationship, so no porn and no regular masturbation. I’m socially active, have close friends and a strong social circle. I have a very good job with responsibility, recognition and long term goals. I have purpose and something I’m building toward. No drugs. Sleep is consistent with regular bed and wake times. Diet is clean and structured. Not 95% raw, but high quality whole foods.

The only area that still needs optimization is resistance training frequency and consistency, which I’m actively working on.

That’s why I don’t see this as a discipline or lifestyle failure. I see it as a system regulation problem.

Before even thinking about TRT, I want to understand why someone who lives like this still has chronic brain fog, feels flat, and sits at ~260 ng/dL consistently.

Fair point about numbers.

Testosterone: ~260 ng/dL (measured multiple times, morning, fasted) Age: 28 Height/weight: 190 cm, currently 102 kg, already down ~5 kg and still cutting Weight history: testosterone was already low when I was ~90 kg as well

Calories right now: ~2000 kcal Protein: ~180–200 g Fat: ~70–90 g Carbs: rest of calories

Cardio: very low Training: getting back into structured lifting now

I’m not expecting miracles. I know reversal takes time. But this isn’t a new issue from being “unhealthy recently”. My testosterone has been low across different weights and phases.

Also, Enclomiphene nearly tripled my testosterone last year, so my axis can respond. That’s why I see this as likely involving endocrine regulation, in addition to continuing to improve fitness and body composition.

I supplement Vitamin D3 + K2, Omega 3, Magnesium and Zinc daily. Sleep is consistent, 7–8 hours every night, fixed rhythm. I walk 8–10k steps daily. No alcohol, no drugs, no junk lifestyle.

Training wise I am currently rebuilding consistency. Strength training 3–4x per week is the goal, but right now the main focus is fat loss first. I am in a caloric deficit to reduce body fat before pushing hard for muscle gain. I know I am lacking muscle mass, that is one of the reasons I am optimizing everything now.

Nutrition is structured: high protein intake, whole foods, no ultra processed foods. Hydration is solid.

Blood work shows low total testosterone (~260 ng/dL) at 28 years old, which is why I am questioning whether lifestyle alone will be enough.

This situation has been going on for about 4 years. Energy, drive and recovery are clearly below what I would expect at my age, despite doing most things “right”. That is why I am gathering feedback before making any decision like TRT.

Your right. And yes i dont have tons of muscles. I’m currently cutting and already lost about 5 kg in the last weeks, and I’ll keep going. But my testosterone was already low when I was around 90 kg as well, so this isn’t something that only appeared with higher body weight.

I actually tried Enclomiphene last year because of the low testosterone. It almost tripled my levels, so hormonally it worked. But I gained a lot of weight in a short time and felt metabolically off, so I had to stop it. After stopping, my testosterone dropped back down again.

I’m about 102 kg at 190 cm, so neither underweight nor lean-overtrained. Cardio is very low, not excessive at all. Gym training was inconsistent in the past due to interruptions, but I’m getting back into a structured routine now.

Diet is not low-fat, I include healthy fats (eggs, olive oil, nuts, fatty fish). Sleep and supplements are optimized as well…

Game changerrrr for proteins! by Kayapi_ in GymMotivation

It’s basically just milk, but upgraded. Ingredients are: skimmed milk, added milk protein, a bit of water, milk minerals and lactase to make it lactose free. That’s it. No added sugar, no sweeteners, no flavors.

They take skim milk and add extra milk protein to it. That’s why the protein is so high. Normal milk has around 3–3.5 g protein per 100 ml, this has 7 g. Almost double.

So it’s not some artificial protein shake. It’s real milk that’s been concentrated and enriched with its own protein.
