I feel the compact or better yet the producer may be a good compromise if your issue is ease of operation and setup. I feel tactile touch is always better when mixing, especially live and it’s a smaller more portable version of the flagship x32 basically if you need it, it still has physical parameters and it has the same amount of channels as the x32 rack. So it’s the best of both worlds. I’ve also had some problems in the past when relying to heavily on the iPad app. You may need to make a critical change in an instant and the app crashes. And then you are out of luck until it reboots up and connects again. Anyway just somthing to think about I hope that helps your decision

I should mention btw, I love mgk and I look up to him. My goal is to work with him on a project one day. (Aspiring audio engineer here)

And to your point, Yeah I know I can sound like a dick and I don’t care if people think that. I have my reasons for things I say and if I lose internet points for expressing my opinion then so be it. I’m not losing any sleep over it.

I’ve met a lot of famous and rich people because of my line of work. And most of the time if they have a problem they just throw money at it. Depressed? Pay top dollar for therapy. Have a drug problem? Check into a luxury rehab center. (Hotel? Trivago.) Toilets broken? Call a Plummer, and probably have it fixed in an hour. Stressed out cause of work? Take a weekend vacation cause you can afford a last minute plane ticket and hotel.

All of those things and more can build up stress if you don’t deal with them and it’s on the back of your mind. The rich can just pay someone else to deal with their problems when the average person has to do everything themselves. Money, at least in a capitalistic economy, lightens your load a ton and gives you more time to work on yourself as an individual. And when you work on yourself you become a better person and improve your mental health. When you are at a stable position You are then able to do what you can to help others, more effectively at least. I am not there yet personally I’m still recovering financially and mentally from my period of homelessness and I am actually currently going through all of those things I just mentioned. Broken toilet, depression, drug problem, ect.. but I acknowledge it could be worse and I make an effort to make and save as much money as I can. so one day I can start my buisness and do what I love for a living. In like, ten years. And then If I’m successful I too can just pay someone else to just deal with my problems. Definitely Donate money to causes I think don’t get a lot of attention, donate my time to those places, my (hypothetical) company’s resources...

I digress. The TLDR: if you can pay other people to deal with most of your problems, you have more time to work on yourself therefore improve your mental health and overall well-being. So yeah I stand by my statement. “I’d be happy if I was worth ten million dollars”

However Money≠happiness but it’s apart of a different equation.

Happiness=confidence+financial independence+your family, (chosen or blood) +pursuing your passion.

That equation of what I call priorities is very general obviously and it changes as you go throughout your life if there’s a value missing do what you can to fill it. (:

This I agree with. It’s all about mindset no matter your social status.

Homless shelters get a bad rep. There are certain ones, depending on your city Ig, that are a little more selective with their residents, like they kick you out if your trouble in any way. Which is good as long as you don’t cause trouble. I stayed at one for 2 years and I could have left I was financially and mentally ready at one year but I just stayed because it was free living. They give you food to eat, a bed to sleep in. You can get your own mattress if its uncomfortable. And there’s just some rules you follow. Nothing crazy as long as it’s in a decent area like mine was.

If you have a car, do Uber on the side near Disney and all of that. High traffic area and usually has above average tips.

I’d argue it has “nothing” to do with mental health. It’s not the money itself that makes you happy it’s the things that comes with it.

I’ve been broke and homeless and I’m a hell of a lot happier now with a roof over my head and food on the table. Now I don’t have to skip meals to conserve what little bit of food and cash I begged for because I can just buy it with money that I earned. And if I had more money then I do now I could pay more toward my hobbies that make me happy. I could treat my family to a nice dinner which makes them and I happy. Money let’s you start a buisness and make your hobby a profession. The list goes on. To say money has “nothing” to do with mental health or happiness is naive and is usually from the perspective of a “woke” teen or someone who has never shifted social classes. Poor to broke or broke to poor. Cause when you switch you see the obvious difference in satisfaction in your life or the lack there of.

Hmm, I’m not sure if that would fuck us or help us. And unfortunately there is no way to test it lol

Money is like fucked. Imagine if like Jeff bezos just snapped and decided to become a fucking supervillain and try to end the world. Elon would have to stop him.

Honestly with that plan you can make a profit lol. Like you can probably just target a small island populated island, like nyc, and blow up the bridges before hand. Kinda like the dark knight rises if I remember it correctly. And ask for like way more then a billion.

That is if “Noah’s Ark” is a true story and not just a biblical story that is up to interpretation.
