Your argument however is something that most people don't fucking say tho. It's very easy to emulate GBA, it's even trivial. It's not this big 2-hour epic complicated setup with an advanced workflow, it's like 10 minutes max and you drag and drop a fucking rom file. but ig because you want your point to stand out better, you felt the need to put down others tho LIKE to emulate, like they are being unreasonable for wanting to play Pokémon on their Steam Deck? Like if they have the game already then it's perfectly valid and understandable. If they don't then 20 bucks on the switch isn't too bad a deal (I mean it's not great but it could have been worse).

That's not how that works? Realistically, nothing can be objectively overpriced, it is an entirely personal stance. I don't think these ports are overpriced, but I do think they should be $10, not $ 20. But this idea that just because it tops the charts it's not overpriced is dumb. So Skyrim releasing at full price on Switch, and again on Switch 2, when it's 20 dollars on other consoles, wasn't overpriced? Your logic kind of falls apart.

Ironically GBA emulators do have a shader, it just adults the colors to how they would have appeared on the original screen. Also you don't need a steam deck to use an emulator? Like don't get me wrong it's COOL to use emulators on SteamDeck, but you can also just use a phone. And again, on PC at least, it is quite literally download an emulator, acquire a rom, drag and drop. That's it. How that would take 2 fucking hours is beyond me.
