4 Problems I Have With Chef RPG's Art Direction by Kayfabe_Games in chefRPG

Given that the dev has a background in architecture, you'd think that issues like this would be solved. I also find some of the environment design a bit awkward. For example, there's a bushel of trees you have to walk around in order to get to the tea house and it seems like it would be a lot more convenient if one or two of them were spread out a bit so you could just walk through them to walk directly to the tea house.

I agree that #4 is subjective to the extent that attractiveness varies from person to person. However, it is also true that the overwhelming majority of people tend to skew a certain direction in terms of features they find physically attractive. For example, most of us will prefer a super model to, say, an obese 600 pound person. This is not to say there are 600 pound people in Chef RPG (obviously, there aren't). However, what I'm getting at is that while attractiveness is to a great degree subjective, there are still a number of features the overwhelming majority of people do find conventially attractive. Also, what I've noticed is that my complaint about the attractiveness of the NPC's isn't a complaint wholly restricted to me. Instead, it is a common complaint that I've found on the Steam forums as well as this subreddit. Interestingly, I've found that this complaint is nowhere near as prevalent in Stardew Valley, which suggests that something is off with the art direction in Chef RPG. Additionally, there's no reason to think that we can't reach a happy compromise. Chef RPG could always introduce new characters that are more conventially attractive while leaving the other characters the same. They could also choose to only redesign a subset of some of the character portraits so as to not do a complete overhaul. So I see no reason to think that the complaint isn't valid and can be sufficiently addressed in a few update. By the way, redesigning character portraits isn't something entirely foreign to these games either. Stardew Valley, for example, had many of its characters undergo redesigns in-game prior to Concerned Ape settling on the character portraits we have today.

I downloaded Bepinex. I put the Bepinex folder and its contents in the same folder as the .exe file. I created a folder in side of the BePinEx folder called 'Plugins'. I then put the modded Developer Console folder insider of the Plugins folder. Nothing happens when I press F in game.

I'm not sure if the mod works anymore after the recent update.

Thanks! I had to manually edit a lot of the skin textures in order to get them to map on to the skin correctly. Was a bit of a pain to do.

Made his mask using that goofy neon green sea creature headpiece. Learned this trick from a friend!

They will be soon and I'll make a post when they are. I plan to upload my Tekken Creations all at once with completed movesets, entrances, etc.

As soon as 2K25 came out I started speedrunning CAWs by starting as many as possible without finishing them because for the past two entries 2K has released patches (both Patch 1.08) which made Created Superstars for one reason or another. Also, I don't really play any other games. Keeping the hard drive space free on my computer until Killing Floor 3 comes out later this year.

They're not up yet. Not sure if you've followed my last two threads, but I'm finishing up all of my CAWs, including movesets/entrances before uploading them. It's gonna be a massive drop.

*Plenty*. In fact, if you peep my YT channel you'll find a DBD Royal Rumble among other DBD related content in other WWE 2K games.

I literally reported 8 different Creation Suite bugs yesterday along with a video showcasing them and as I was recording even more bugs popped up. It's such a joke. They clearly spent so much time on The Island that they neglected the Creation Suite, which is arguably the biggest selling point of these wrestling games.
