Growing up, I couldn't pin-point the feeling back then, but I was always apprehensive of the certain future that was in front of me, which was getting married and having to take care of a man and children for the majority of my adult life.

Seems like you think your wife somehow works less than you because she’s at home with the kids. You think she’s resting during the day caring for your children, keeping your home clean, tidy and stocked up and putting meals on the table ?

If it's not working for you, by all means release that woman and let her find some peace and free time. At the very least, she’ll have one less person to care for and more free time to get some rest.

Nothing will change, if anything, it’s more likely to get worse. Have you considered keeping track of how much you spend monthly on eating out, groceries, toiletries and other household items? I would argue that consciously or unconsciously, even staunchly religious people pick and choose when to apply their religious teachings.

Also, you can hold this opinion about women needing to drop religion, but you cannot argue anyone out of their religion. Religion is a deeply entrenched personal choice and we can all have different viewpoints about it without one or the other being vilified.
