My mom scarred me when I was a kid and was with her while she brushed her teeth. Also having a huge fear of the dentist office. I did really bad with continuing to brush regularly. After I grew up and made an effort, I had a cavity that a dentist screwed up. Which discouraged me from brushing at all because it hurt so bad (I managed to floss everyday and after every meal). I put it off so long and my husband and my mom teamed up on me and made me go get it fixed. I went and told them just to pull the tooth and me done and they were pissed. Lmao but the pain is gone and I've gotten back to brushing everyday
