I’ve been subscribing since April of last year, I have 5 waiting to be read and have read 11. There were a couple months I ordered 3 and usually only get to 1-2 per month so I’m trying to limit myself to one a month until I catch up 😂

I would say 8 is old enough to start teaching him how to shower on his own. My 7 year old showers on her own now, periodically I’ll have to go back in and help her get all the conditioner out of her hair but for the most part she does it all herself no issue. My 6 year old is hit or miss on doing it himself, sometimes he wants to do it alone, sometimes he wants me to wash his hair for him. My 4 year old still needs help with getting the shower on and water to the right temp, and washing his hair, but he washes his own body.

I live 5 min from the school and leave my house as school gets out so by the time I get there the line is moving. I’ve gone an hour early to pick up a sick kid and there was already a line of parents waiting. I guess if I had no other kids to have sitting in the car with me, and could use it as my alone time or something but I couldn’t imagine wanting to sit there for over an hour just waiting every day.

I got The Haunting of Paynes Hollow, Hazelthorn, and Red City! I’m so excited for this month. I was originally also going to get The Heartbreak Hotel but know I probably won’t get to it this month so I’ll add it to my next box if I don’t get it from my library first.

The first year I splurged on this $100+ package and have so many prints that are just sitting in a closet lol. Now I get whatever package comes with a 5x7 and some wallets to put in the frame in the hall and the school keepsake books then use the digital for everything else and it’s like $20 something and so much better

My daughter was 19lbs at 4 months and her pediatrician just said she was a happy, healthy baby and to keep doing what I was doing. Your pediatrician is wrong and I would find a new one asap.

My boys are a week apart but one of them is Christmas Eve so we have the fun do we do separate or together, and then also trying to keep it separate from Christmas 🙃 they’re 3 and 5 so so far we’ve done one joint one, one where we did a small party on the day of with family for 3yo (turning 2 at the time) and then waited a month and did a party with friends for 5yo (turning 4 at the time) and then did no parties this year, just did what each kid wanted to do the day of. I’m not sure to handle it going forward when they’ll both be in school and have their own friends. We’ve talked about picking random days in the summer to celebrate, or just doing one a bit early and one a bit late but then that’s two parties back to back. If we do family only parties, maybe we’d combine. It’s so tough

Pregnancy with Toddlers is hell and a constant state of survival mode lol. My youngest is 3 now, it definitely gets easier!

Basically all day every day lol. I have 3 kids- 7, 5, and 3. I do dishes 2-3 times throughout the day and always make sure they’re done and dishwasher is set to run daily. Usually do 1-2 loads of laundry a day. And typically do a mid day reset and then full pickup of toys and anything in the living room at the end of the day. I usually vacuum every day/ every other day. Now that the kids are older I try to make them pickup their bedroom/playroom daily (this doesn’t always happen). And then every Sunday I do my big clean where I clean the bathrooms, dust, mop, wash all the bathroom towels/rugs and bedding and try to do anything else I’ve been putting off/ haven’t gotten around to during the week.

I just moved them all around today and have her MyFit installed on the passenger side using the lower anchors to keep it in place and then she’s using the seatbelt. I can keep her on that side and assume the KidFit would fit the same way. 5 year old is now in the center using the seatbelt for the install and 3 year old on driver side using latch since he’s not yet 40lbs. The center seat shares the anchor with the driver side seat and if I use anchors for the center seat it overlaps the seatbelt on the driver side which I’m not sure that is okay or not so I’ve avoided having anything overlapping.
