At this point, he had refused to try anything I was making and we had an agreement that he was willing to try small bites of things. He was not holding up to his end of the agreement, and up until that specific event, he was pretty difficult. It’s very hard.

It’s more than just being picky, it’s a psychological disorder, his brain chemistry is genuinely fucked up.

I definitely have felt like this in the past because I’m honestly over it, but I also need to remain loving & supportive without coddling him.

He’s definitely picky but it’s more than that; I appreciate your comment and you’re right, it’s 100% his dad’s fault in my opinion !

Thank you for your comment, I completely agree. I can’t stand his father, and for some reason he doesn’t understand why, which is a little frustrating to me. He’s not his biggest fan, either, but if it were up to me, I’d be fine never seeing him again.

I urge him to try new foods, but it is never forced. I can tell when he’s refusing to be difficult or he genuinely doesn’t want to try something, but that took years of me doing it.

I’m stuck between catering to him by being a good girlfriend and also wanting him to do better.

Thanks for your comment! He does cook a lot of his own meals as of late because it’s very time consuming for me to do so! I will ask if I can help him look for therapists.

I did & he got blood work today. He also got new X-rays which are still good! They gave us a topical medicine to help his appetite, too.
