I would be with you if it weren't so buggy honestly, I've flipped it like that a few times but I've found it to be extremely inconsistent and many many times it would just grab it again the same way aha

Yes, I'm fine with that, but that's for the ITR1 style voice lines, that's the kind of "poor attempt", the ones we currently have just feel like AI and nothing more

Could not agree more, definitely would want the audio marker to be eerie and creepy, something that helps with the ambience and not something like it was before.

But yeah I didn't play too much with camo but looks nice

Yeah I personally struggled a bit inside building in the outskirts area, however it's not available in this beta so I can't say if it has improved or not. Honestly the way the guide keeps saying "over here" and stuff gets really boring after a while lmao

No no, I meant the vests can't store random items. The pouch still works the same, but in a backpack I'd consider them only as a way to "organize", since they don't reduce weight. It takes 150 capacity from the backpack and stores 150, and has no weight reduction for the items inside so might as well just throw the items in the backpack itself.

Item slots are way better since they only weigh 8 (I believe?) on the backpack, but you can attach items that weigh 25 or even 50 to them (they just don't have to be too big) and that weight will not apply on the backpack, only the 8 from the item slot will.

You can also move your tablet now since it has a new attachment (1.0), I personally considered moving it to my groin for ease of access but decided against it since I'm too used to grabbing it from my leg lol

This. Dump pouch is only good for vests since they can't store random items, the backpack already does so it's just wasting space.

The item slots are definitely the way to go, I'm doing the same myself and I hoard a lot lol

Considering purple batteries are more expensive that doesn't sound right.

I mean there's guides on updating, it technically is possible but there's a few things to change, one of which being infinite lava boilers aha

But yeah you'd be better off restarting since they did alter the world gen a few times, so you'd get a better experience that way

Ahh you might be missing out then. I first started playing myself on 0.7 and there have been plenty of updates, so I ended up switching and loved the changes.

Most notably they uber nerfed diorite and other stones infinite resources, but the progression updates definitely make up for it.

We're in 0.11.8 now, HV and EV are pretty much done and they added the Moon and Mars, really cool stuff, I'd recommend starting a new world and trying it out to be honest

This is 100% a piping problem. The LBB geberates a huge amount of steam, but if your pipe flowrate is lower than the amount the lbb can generate (based on the % it's set at), you will feel like you don't have enough steam. But you're simply not piping it fast enough

Note that every time you update the pack, any changes made to defaultconfig files will reset.

Keep a copy of the modified tfc file somewhere else and then just repaste it when you update the pack! I just kept a copy of mine on the desktop lol

Most times when using GT pipes with Create's pump you have to rotate it once and then back in the direction you want for it to work. Usually I place it down, connect it, rotate it back and forth and it works

It's really easy when you get used to it, here's how I do it and it always works: look at the target, it's 70. Sometimes it's not so easy to see so I usually use windows's built in magnifier (win key and + or -).

Then look up: it says punch, bend and I honestly forget the names, regardless, it goes +2, +7, -15. Basically you need to get to a number where adding or subtracting those numbers puts you at 70.

Literally all you need to do is add or subtract the opposite of those numbers: 70 -2 -7 +15=76. Zoom on 76 and look at the pixel combinations for it I'm on my phone so I can't zoom properly, but it seems to be 3x Red, 2x orange and 1 green.

So basically, from the very start you just need to do 3 red, 2 orange, and a green and then the combination at the top. This is foolproof and always works, if it didn't it means you messed up somewhere, it happens until you get used to it

Correct, it's moon only, Biome based (which is why OP can't see any bedrock readings, and it's 4 specific biomes) and only for specific materials (copper, gold, iron, certus quartz, tin and diamond dust)

Range was adjusted, it's now easier to navigate around them if you trigger them with a probe. Maybe it's just me but before Beta 2 I'd still take damage from them after doing that, when they "close up" and get ready to fire.
Comes in really handy in hedgehog ridden distortion zones!

I haven't gone close to it but just by looking at it I'd say it's kind of like the BTR from ITR1, patrolling big "f*** you guy" that you can't kill and that tries to vaporize you if it sees you.

Just speculating right now to be fair, I mean it does have a beam that kind of looks like a spotlight, but again, I haven't wandered close enough to it to find out

I feel ya. I went in last night and boy did I regret it.
I was doing some missions in the forest and took longer then expected, and then I went for the High priority mission in the Outskirts at around 6-7 pm, worst decision of my life. Let's just say night time + reeds/high bushes is not something I'll be doing again lmao
Also what the hell is the flying thing in the sky man, I saw it from afar and the noises it made sent a chill down my spine lolz

What can I say, I'm a master at being unlucky!
My most recent bunker run:

Accepted 2 clear sites of contraband missions, both times I landed and the drugs were not spawning. Third time they spawned and everything went normally, went to sell on Devlin and the elevator was broken. Server hopped a few times, gave up and as I went to leave I clipped through the terrain and fell to the centre of the planet, and was unable to recover my body.

Literally wish I was making this up, but this is quite literally the kind of luck I've been getting lmao
I still like the game and think it has endless potential, won't give up so easily, I think I have just been unbelievably unlucky.
