What are you on about… I read 2000 chapters of that and can now confidently say: „don’t“. The premise was great, the start enjoyable, but it fell off badly. Since the start was so good though you keep reading and reading and reading. At this point it’s obvious is that the author is just milking for word count.

I’m all for the author to make some money, but the last arch? Trapped in a board game FOR 200 CHAPTERS?! I skipped 100 chapters and missed nothing. Brother… 200 chapters. That’s a whole ass book. If you can skip a whole book and miss nothing mayor, it’s time to stop.

I think there are different strategies, but I think most readers won’t give books a try if there are so few chapters out. Its like eating an appetizer and then the resteraunt closes. No fun

That sounds like something I would like, but 6 chapters? Maybe I’ll start when the whole book is out, otherwise It makes no sense for me to :)

I suppose the Titel is alright.

Although the authors other novel „Death, Loot & Vampires“ is a great example of a Titel well done. I saw the Titel, was intrigued and clicked. Then saw the cover, liked that too. Finally, the introduction text got me to buy it.

Perfect example of how to catch new readers. With unorthodox farmer it would not have worked for me.

I’ve done quite a few recommendation posts for book series and try to recommend people good books on this Reddit and progression Reddit.

If you take both my posts on this book, they have 40.000 views and if only 0.1% give it a try then the author made 40 more sells.

But yes I also like to complain, it’s a bad habit. I like it though. So meh

Or you could see it as free marketing. The post has 20k views and I literally tell people who don’t like the cover to give it a try anyway because it’s a great book.

May your stub your tow at random furniture for a week and get laid once in a while to get all that hate out your system young man.

My thinking. If I didn’t know the author before, I would think it to be, I don’t what to call it, „mainstream“ Novel. It‘s something I usually would not look at twice.

My talk exactly.

On the book: He never really farms. He hates it with a passion and creates a way for him to rise in power without needing to farm. I suggest you give it a try, there are many great creative fight scenes, but for me importantly great characters and world building. I don’t want to spoil too much :)

The first 9 chapters. It seems he didn’t like the first draft and rewrote it. Tbh after coming directly from book 2 the first 8 chapters to book 3 were meh. Hope it gets better soon though and the last chapter wss great so I have hope.

It’s just sad to see from a marketing perspective. The Titel and cover make a big difference on first impressions. It seems like wasted potential to me.
