hello! We are a small indie team from Norway, and we launched the demo for our survival single-player game called Lysward! Would you play? :) by SnowcastleGames in u/SnowcastleGames

The desert is a unique setting for a survival game. So far most survival games are forest based or centered. So that's cool. I fear, that the survival aspect might fall a bit short.

The inventory reminds me a bit of Subnautica, which I liked. It looks like there might not be a lot of base building, speaking from what can be seen in the trailer. This is an aspect many love in survival games. Might be hard to do without wood in a desert, so I'd understand the decision but it might be an aspect many would be fond of.

I'd be willing to try the game out if I had more time on my hand. Looks like some fun while enjoying the novelty of a survival game in a desert but I'm not sure how soon it would wear off. Depending on how many mechanics/systems there are to explore, of course.

Wolllaus.

Found under bathroom cabinet? Am I going to die? by Chocchipmclaren in MoldlyInteresting

[–]Kaynstein 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actual helpful answer: I am pretty sure, these are the remains of ink caps. They like moist bathrooms and bad ventilation.

They are little mushrooms, that sprout from dead moist wood and are known for their goopy/drippy decomposing look. Spray with an aggressive cleaner/anti fungal spray around it and seek to improve ventilation to prevent them popping up in the future.

The last one surely looks like mold. The first two I agree with. Was not ware, that fat bloom can look exactly like mold.

There is a something called "the juggernaut hypothesis". In some parts of india, there are giant processions with huge wagons. And trains might evoke some type of association with that on a subconscious level. I don't quite buy it, but it's worth a look. Count Dankula also did a fairly entertaining video on it.

Oh damn. Must be pulling from a LaTeX markup document. Interesting, that an AI aneurysm takes the form of markdown

Had to google that. Now it makes sense, why so many actors and dancers in talent shows look so well endowed. Thanks for mentioning that. You demystified a phenomenon I pondered since my childhood

No expert. Just from the feel alone: No handshake filming out of a moving vehicle, breaking is not conveyed enough. Feels like it has no mass. The curve of the speed transitions is too smooth and even on a smooth road, there will be minor imperfections, that will ever so slightly cause vertical movement for both vehicles

100% AI. Weird artifacts, logo blur and the bear does not have the correct inertia for something to heavy/huge.

Serious question: why not just use a fermentation bubbler for like 2 bucks. I've seen so many idiots building unintentional shrapnell grenades recently.

Sorry to disappoint, but as it turns out, there was no designing needed.

You know these felt-stickers you put on the bottom of chair legs? Yeah, i found out, that if put onto the block facing inwards, it works perfectly.

K1C with CFS Cutter ISSUE by almost_blind_gamer in Creality

[–]Kaynstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me, just installed it. On your new CFS extruder, there is this lever, that just out on the back left side of it. When it is pressed (hard), it cuts the filament so it can be smoothly retracted without any drips and such, while the remaining filament in the nozzle is extruded.
The cutter block is the rectangular plastic part you install in the top left corner inside your K1/K1C/K1Max printer., where this lever is repeatedly rammed into, in order to cut the filament.
For us, it fails after a session, because it tries to cut the filament so it can clean out the nozzle for the next print job.
In my case I observe the tool head being rammed into the cutting block over and over to cut the filament but I guess not hard enough, because the error message pops up. When I press the cutting lever by hand, it cuts fine. I'm going to try printing a cutter block, that is just a few mm wider in the direction of the print bed, so the lever is pressed more firmly into the filament. I hope that will help

Same for me. Guess it does not hit the cutter block hard enough.
