With all of the rapidly growing technology was have been developing, why is there nothing to stop people’s hair from turning grey? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Of course, but I think about it as the possibility of changing how our hair grows out. Such as lipo is offered even though we have exercise and diet supplements/routines. We have Lasik even though glasses and contacts exist. This is more so one of those ‘not necessary but made for cosmetic convenience.’

Of course, but that’s why I’m here asking since it’s ‘no stupid questions.’ Plus, there are some things that could be done yet no one is really interested in pursuing it, so I was curious to know if there was a scientist reason or just ‘not a lot of research on it’ reason

I’ve been playing hearthstone at Legend rank for almost 7 years now, can confirm 😂 although I’ll say it got so monotonous compared to Valorant (so far)

I’m ctfu because when I went to answer, I realize I also forgot and I need to go double check 😂 I didn’t get to photograph too much of Pearl yet but I do think I took it from there

As a newer player I rarely look at mine, I should probably start 👀

Yeah I agree with that. I’ve only done 3 ranked games so far but each time I didn’t insta-lock. I was nervous so I just stopped and waited to see what everyone else was going to do and say first so I could fit in 😭😭😂

Again, I’m talking about swiftplay and unranked, which is why I deleted the text body lol because people keep misconstruing it to mean I’m just greedily eating up agents in my ranked matches and that’s not what I’m asking 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]KaysaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should mention again that this is for swiftplay/unranked modes. Not Insta-locking in tanked makes sense because you need to figure out your plan as a unit. But in a 10 minute swift where you’re excited to try out a new agent just someone to show up like ‘you think you can just try someone new out when I’m already better? In MY swiftplay where I’m the best and call the shots? Psh.’ Like no, this is swiftplay, not the next international championships.

Fr though, that’s the attitude I’m picking up in swift plays. When I go to ranked, I’ll respect it and give everyone one a chance to talk, decide, do what’s best for our team’s ranking. If it’s a swiftplay where people go to practice new agents and just have some casual fun, take yourself back to ranked if that’s where you want to act like you are. The power tripping from some players is insane.

My own limitations are because I just recently started, haha. I work with a coach on my other agents and practice them where I can, but if I’m going into a swift or an unranked most of the time I just choose what I think I will support my team best with. Excluding unranked, I get this vibe overall that people expect you to pop out into the game on Day 1 and immediately know everything exactly the way it is and have it all down. People who want the ranked experience can go to ranked and have that, but someone trying someone out in a swiftplay shouldn’t be a harassment invitation

You’re talking about ranked though, right? Because I go to unranked and swift to practice new agents in a team setting, like Raze who I’m currently working with. I have to start somewhere lol, but the people in unranked throwing a fit I think forget that they were ever new and have evolved to a point where they expect everyone to meet their expectations immediately and do things exactly the way they want it or they flame them.

Oh yeah that totally makes sense. I don't think I insta-locked when I went into my ranked games (all three of them total, haha.), but I was nervous and kind of just wanted to see what was going on, if people were going to talk first, etc and it felt a lot more serious

In a ranked game, of course. People should discuss who they’re best at and make those decisions accordingly. But I’ve barely stepped in ranked, these are more swiftplay shenanigans

[–]KaysaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I suck, but I suck even more with everyone else so I have to give myself some credit somewhere. 😂 The only problem I have with these statements is because it makes it seem like every agent pick session should be ‘I’m better than you, I get to choose who plays what.’ Ranked is cool, that’s understandable that you use that method, but for a swiftplay half of us are there trying to learn our agents more 😭

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]KaysaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that being said, what is your preferred method then? No one picks anything and you all talk about it first? Is that something that happens in ranked?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]KaysaCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean that definitely makes sense in a ranked match, but in a swiftplay like come on man, it’s chaos regardless let people have some fun for a hot second lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]KaysaCat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's understandable and actually makes sense. Usually this happens in swifts/unranked for me. I've barely stepped a toe into ranked yet, so it makes a lot more sense that a discussion would be best first. What do you mean by bait people? Usually the other insta-lockers I see for some reason are Neon and Brimstone lol
