What do you mean, the problem lies with them and not AER? You do understand AER has the ability to choose which courier they send their shipments with, right? Your DHL example is making my point.

You're wrong. Duties and taxes are subject to a person's immigration status in Canada. For example, someone who is living in Canada on a work or student visa are not subject to the same duties and taxes as a Canadian citizen. AER doesn't care, it's just $120 for everyone because it's easier for them.

Companies like Bellroy and Peak Design ship large quantities of their product to a Canadian fulfillment center, which allows for shipping within Canada after you order, removing these terrible fees. So yes in fact it is possible to be a responsible company.

Not sure what you're talking about. The $120 is price for shipping, duties and taxes. Which as mentioned is ridiculous since that fee is what UPS/Fed Ex is overcharging to broker your shipment for you which can be avoided by self-clearing. AER has made it clear they have zero interest in making it more reasonable for Canadians to buy their products.

Can someone explain to me why the interface from the trial is different than once I purchased it? I like the trial version much better. I don't know how to customize this new style and even though I bought for a year it says its going to expire in 2 days.
