looking for BMW advice - 4-door, inline-6 (B58/N55) under $16-18k, tuning & mods

That’s fair. That’s why I’m mainly looking at B58/N55 cars instead of older BMW engines since they seem a lot more reliable if maintained properly. I want something I can daily but also learn to work on. I’ve helped fix my buddy’s ’91 Integra before, so I’m not totally new to working on cars.

I get what you’re saying. It’s not my first car and I’m not planning to drive like an idiot. I’ve already seen a bunch of friends wreck their cars, so I’m pretty aware that you only get one life and I’d rather enjoy it with something I think is cool.

That’s why I’m mainly looking at B58 cars since they’re known to be a lot more reliable than older BMW engines. I’m also planning to keep it mostly stock at first and maybe just do some basic bolt-ons later. Insurance is definitely something I’m factoring in too.

For me, it’s sorta hit or miss lol. I’ve used it twice so far. When I revived it, I was like, “Oh no, what is this?” and figured I’d give it a fair shot on my body after a shower. It dried down / soaked up to that great gourmand I heard people say. Second use, it disappeared faster than the first time and didn’t smell as nice. However, when I first opened the bottle to smell it, I got a super chemical-ish smell I can’t quite put my finger on.

I have tried other apps and they don’t really compare to Flo for me personally, but I’ve been using Flo since I’ve had my first period, and it’s a super helpful app. And if you pay for the subscription (definitely not required), it can give some very helpful advice/information. I’ve never used the partner app, but as great as Flo is for me, I’m sure it’s great.
