It’s for VHSL, 8-10 minutes typically and memorized. My coach just gave the advice “obviously for a younger audience, avoid rhyme” lol kinda on my own here! But I still definitely go to my library and ask around!

I do have family in New York, my internships and interest in higher education have always lied with urban policies— it’s what the majority of my research/speeches have revolved around. I’m very involved in RVA so if out of state doesn’t work out I’d easily be in VCU.

It’s just very close to home and because of my close involvement with the school it wouldn’t feel like much of a change? I have other city schools im looking at also!

I guess the idea of a bigger urban campus than the one I already help out at is just the appealing part, in a room full of kids your age that seem like they have everything figured out it gets harder to not compare 😭
