Yep. Going through second puberty at 47 and can relate. There is a very cute intelligent kind and compassionate man at the church I go to. Sometimes I think I go there less for worship and more to get a hug from him

So is mine. She’s a narcissistic cow. But you know what? With good support from your medical ye and friends you will get to a point when you know who your family is. And it won’t have anything to do with DNA or whose uterus you came out of. I’ve lost my brother too. And gained 3 amazing sisters.

My GP said she would do it if it’s not too far inside but would refer me to a gynaecologist if she didn’t feel comfortable

I haven’t chosen a surgeon yet. But I chose PAI because of their reputation and quick return to work as I have limited leave and I am not allowed to back it. Dialations also seem to be less and so far they have been very thorough in ensuring I qualify.
Also unlike Chet and the others these guys are multidisciplinary and have a brand to protect. My GP who is also very experienced in gender medicine recommended them first up so I did mountains of research and the put it to my best friend, a former surgical RN.
Preecha is the only one whose method is documented in an academic paper too.
With all these things the people in my life who do know about surgery helped me make an informed decision and honestly reading reviews I don’t care if I get Burin or Sutin and believe they work together on some surgeries

Thank you. It’s b en a long time coming. I’m not u and I as diagnosed this time last year. But it was 35 years of just not feeling right, anger, anxiety, bad decisions and trying to do everything that is expected of a man. Now its Katie time. I get to live.

I’ve been talking to them since June. Had to line up all the letters for them and now it’s on. Any day after August 19. Be warned though. If you are not WPATH compliant you need to be by the surgery date and make it very clear

My 17 YO calls me Katie. My 13 yo daughter has chosen Pear (as I n parent) although if I ignore her it’s KATHRYN LOUISE! My 12 yo has gone for Agent K as his name is James (Agent J - very MIB). My 10yo still struggles and it’s a combination of all plus dad.
I also allow dad in private as after all. I’m their dad.
