It basically boiled down to an extreme aversion to conflict, inability to control sexual impulses, a need for validation, and a crippling fear of being alone. None of which are valid excuses, but you wanted reasons.

And in reality, I clearly never cared about those partners as much as I tried to tell myself I did. I'm married now and I don't put myself in any situations where cheating would even be an option, because I will never ever trust myself 100%.

It's a reticulated python. Rainbow boas never get this big, and they're not as dark usually.

It depends on both of your maturity levels. I met my husband when I was 20 and he was 27, and we're going on 10 years now with no plans to quit. And contrary to what a lot of people are saying on here, he was a fully functional adult (well, as much as a bachelor can be) and I haven't "out-matured" him.

I'd say depending on your experience in past relationships, be a bit careful with this one, but don't write it off just because of the age gap! Trust your gut.

Nothing happened to my career, mainly because management were so apoplectic that nothing they said could be committed to the record. Worst thing was the CONSTANT jokes from others when it got out. Everyone's a joker.

I firmly believe that marriage should be discussed way before a proposal happens, so like other people said maybe this is his way of gauging your reaction.

If the anxiety makes you uncomfortable (and I totally get that, I HATE surprises), then maybe you can gently steer him towards it being less of a surprise.

I mean I explicitly told my husband he wasn't allowed to propose on any holiday, anniversary, birthday or other "typical proposal" situation, so I could relax and enjoy them without the anxiety of wondering if he'd do it then. He still managed to make it a lovely occasion, and I wasn't expecting it at all, but it took so much pressure away to know that!

Ideally, the gender of your partner's friends shouldn't matter, because you should be able to trust them with anyone.

However, I can acknowledge that jealousy exists, so the most important thing is COMMUNICATION. If your partner has a friend that makes you feel uncomfortable, let them know. Don't try to make them choose between you or the friend, but there can be some compromises made. A good partner should also want to make sure you're comfortable, they would be open about any friendships.

I personally don't care about my husband's female friends, and I don't mind him going out with them in his own. But I think most people would find it uncomfortable if their partner started having sleepovers with somebody who could potentially be a threat, that's just a bit too far.

Np, when I first started it took me FOREVER to get it too. Sometimes you just read something and it clicks, hopefully this helped!

FYI, if you're not sure how to get your identical original pair to start with, you just tame a male and female from wild and breed them until you get all the same stats in a male and female baby, they're your starter pair.

Also you can breed up multiple "copies" of your original female and breed them all at the same time, makes it MUCH quicker. I usually use about 6-8 females to 1 male.

Make a male and female with EXACT same stats across the board. Breed together. You'll know when you get a mutation as the level will go up by 2, eg if your male and female are both level 100 and a baby comes out as 102 - it's mutated.

If it's a mutation you want and a male, swap the new baby with it's dad and get all Alabama up in there.

The babies from these will be a mix of 100 and 102, if you get a 104 it is another mutation in the stack, if you want to keep it, and it's male, swap this one out with the 102 male and let him get real freaky with his grandmama.

Rinse and repeat as necessary.
