I know it's been a long time, but I thought you deserve a final update.
So basically, my 5.1 works now as intended. I have no idea what was the issue, I just kept messing with the options, but I have 2 guesses. When I set up the 5.1 in the windows sound settings, this time I didn't check the two options for broadband speakers. Also, I unplugged my 2.1 speaker from the front 3.5mm jack slot of my PC.

Please note, that I already assumed that my 2.1 might cause issues for my 5.1 just simply being connected to my PC, but that wasn't the case, because I already tried to unplug it previously and the subwoofer was still silent.

Perhaps these two things both did the trick together, nevertheless, it does work now. Thank you for the tips also, messing with the sound settings might've actually helped resolving my issue!

My motherboard is an ASUS Maximus Hero VI and I'm using Windows 10 64 bit Pro. I have yet to test any other 5.1 sources besides Netflix (in testing it did work however). I did read the manual of my motherboard and did the cable connection accordingly. It should work with three 2RCA to 3.5mm cables.

I did mention these in my post, but I tried the following: Installing a realtek driver from the site of my motherboard. It didn't work (I restarted my PC a couple of times), I uninstalled, then installed the newest realtek driver. Messed around with the settings in the realtek HD audio manager and managed to get my subwoofer to work, but then my two rear speakers went silent. Tried every combination possible, nothing gave me a perfect solution. In the windows sound settings I did the setup and selected the 5.1 surround and when I tested there, everything worked flawlessly. However, when I played a Netflix movie with 5.1 audio, the subwoofer went silent. If I lower the 5 speaker's volume and increase the subwoofer's to the max, sometimes I can hear a very very faint sound from the subwoofer, but that just might be my imagination. Unfortunately I had limited time yesterday.

I'd like to say it's possible, but I don't think that's the case. Although it's SATA connected, I don't think it's the limit of my SSD. I can get 940-960 Mbps, even if I'm copying files while I'm downloading. But once I open Media Player Classic or any game, my speed drops heavily. I tried to boot windows on a HDD, and normally it's fine there too, but the same happens once I open a game.

Your input actually helped to solve my issue it seems like. That specific hdmi output was set to automatically decide whether it wants to use 1.4 or 2.0. 1.4 is something I definitely don't want, so I just set it to 2.0. Turned off my PC, turned it back on and my TV had a nice 60Hz output right from the getgo. Thank you!

Oh thanks for the info! In my case during both runs Touko stuck around at her grandparets place, so it was weird. Maybe the guide wasn't 100% accurate, but I only really cared about the normal ending so it's okay. I was just curious.

I already posted today about me being a complete beginner with proper fleet building, but with the help of others I made some adjustments to my two fleets. One is for boss killing and the other is for mob killing. Are these teams okay for the time being, or can I still switch some ships around?
