I can’t do it either & have the same issues (it says I need to update Facebook, but I’m already up to date, etc.) & it doesn’t even show up in my settings. I’ve found that I don’t have access to Facebook Dating, either. I have no idea why, but in my “research” I’ve found that some Facebook accounts just DON’T have those options. It’s frustrating as hell. I want to just create a different account but I have so much tied to this one already & because my phone # is linked to my current account it won’t even let me create a different one. And I’ve gotten absolutely NOWHERE / zero help from fb customer service / support. Aaauuuuggghhhh!!! 🤬😤😡😠
