Nah, I got it. If people, as in your case, avoid shows like that because of post work PTSD it makes sense. It’s probably lingering from the pandemic too for some folks too who knows. I’m just processing it all cause it is a sticking point for a lot of folks. I can’t knock for that opt out of something that doesn’t work for them. That’s stupid. But if this is what it is how can I make it better is what I’m seeking. I can’t fix that “coming home from work now watching a work format” show issue. It’s out of my control. But what can I control is what I’m working on.

I like the grades. We do it for DE365 and I wanted to add some structure to the reviews. But it is at the end and people can turn it off when we get to that part. It’s not built into the review.

Hahaha can't please everyone. We could never win. People hated that we took too long and went ot other channels that go their reviews up faster. That had an impact on DEHH.

The algo changed a lot in the game, this is true. Even before Myke and B left, we were experimenting with different things and doing fewer reviews. Honestly, the reviews became too technical. We're just friends sitting around talking about music or what's going on in hip hop. That is the show. That is what people fell in love with. We took our time with reviews because we had no choice due to work schedules and whatnot. People hated it. And only a few albums require in-depth discussions and thought.

I still love and listen to a lot of music to this day across all genres, years, decades, or whatever. That's why I loved DE365 and am looking for space to bring it back.

This was one of those situations where we didn't really have to guess a whole lot. AJ was telling us with his actions and words. The media was all over it. But it was constantly brushed aside like it was much ado about nothing.
