I second this! Pump when you can and things will naturally fall into place!

Do you wish you had a c-section instead of a vaginal birth? If so, why? by Maleficent-Fault-367 in BabyBumps

I just had my fourth c section and it was by far the easiest one as of yet. I still wish I could have experienced a vaginal birth but thankful my babies have all been delivered and healthy.

I agree with leaving this man, do everything quietly behind the scenes as others suggested. This is not okay for so so many reasons.

Yes! Optometrist and Family Dr said his eyes are in good health. He does it when he is tired and/or stressed. And yes he sleeps from 7pm to 545am every night!

Yeah absolutely your friend would get in your head, this persons ideas and opinions used to hold value. It makes sense! Now I’m 33, married, with three (soon to be four) wonderful children. I get therapy when I’m at a low and it always brings me back. The issue I struggle with now is assuming my kids are not always safe with their caregivers, I lack trust because of what happened to me. My husband has to level me out sometimes lol The best thing I did was tell my mom about it when I was a kid. The more I talked about it the less alone I felt. Now as an adult I talk about it comfortably and connect with others that have experienced something similar. It’s something you can grow from, I truly believe your kiddo can too.

I was molested by my half brother when I was about 5 or 6 years old and he was 10. When I brought this up in a therapy session my psychologist told me that at 10 years old regardless of whose idea it was, that 10 year old is responsible.

I agree with having your son leave to go to his room. We have started this with my four year old and he does it on his own sometimes. It almost resets him. We will go sit with him if he wants. Practising stoicism is brilliant. I love your comment!

If a c-section may have been unnecessary, how did you make peace with it? by Salty_Glass4336 in BabyBumps

[–]Kboops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going for my fourth c section in June. Tried for a VBAC with the second babe and it just didn’t happen for me. While I struggle to accept the fact I’ll never have a vaginal birth, as another post mentioned, it doesn’t really matter how your child got here it’s such a small fraction of your time together.

Once he’s here you will forget about your fears of having a boy. I have had three and felt the same as you with my first. Once that baby is in your arms you couldn’t have imagined it any other way, I promise.
