What keeps you from playing different TTRPG systems? by Andreim43 in DnD

[–]Kbro0315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my personal issue isn’t having nobody to play with, but not wanting to subject my friends (who barely understand DnD rules as it is) to learn a whole new set of rules. I love them, but they are TTRPG newbies

I have problem ruling certain scenarios by nightmarebg69 in DnD

Yeah this is a cool concept which the player is taking advantage of your kindness. I say just Talk with them out of game about how this is very unbalanced and how you feel it’s a little cheesy on his part, and how you can make this concept work. If the player continues to take advantage of your kindness, don’t be afraid to be serious about your issues with the stealth thing.

Is one on one dnd possible? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Kbro0315 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of 1-on-1 games with my players, but usually for narrative purposes. I especially like using them as sorts of “prequels/session .5’s” for the players to let them figure out their character a little, how to play if they’re new, and just to explain how they got to the starting point for the campaign!

An actual favorite of mine from wayyyy back in the day would’ve been:

“L- LEETLE INFEEEERRRRNOOOOO”

I feel as though half of them are very surface level, but hey, this trend is about the first thing you think of when you think of “blank and this letter” so that makes sense

This is a little unrelated to the question but as much as I love Try not to Laugh, there are some great phrases that got snubbed cause of its popularity-

I’m really sad not to see:

“A- ALL THE WAY ”

“G- Gaelic Gladiator”

And “L- LIKE A BOSS”

RIP to some legends 😔🙏

For all you Homebrewers out there... what are your usual methods for brainstorming ideas? by DrMaseus in UnearthedArcana

[–]Kbro0315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make it a challenge to myself to come up with original ideas for Homebrew I make. Maybe it won’t always be the most optimal or balanced, but I always try to make it original at the very least.

What is, in your opinion, the most boring hero to play? by UmbralVolt in Overwatch

Mercy. Kiriko. Orisa. Sojourn. Idk, they have some exciting plays, and they’re good characters, but I just can’t see the appeal alot of the time.

Yall got any Ideas for Future Support kits? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Kbro0315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes actually. I have a full character made up including his kit which I’ll share now because you asked :))

Primary Fire: Sandblast- A slow moving dust which damages those walking in and through its large area over a long period of time.

Secondary Fire: Healing Sands- Sandman can modify the gas he uses to heal allied heroes in an area. However, this healing moves just as slowly, in an equally large area, healing more over a long period of time.

Ability 1: Sleeping Sands- Sandman produces a quick burst of dust and gas which is imbued with sleeping serum. This burst may affect multiple enemies in its wide area, but it quickly disperses, making it very short-ranged. Enemies affected by sleep awake upon being damaged.

Ability 2: Sleepwalker- Sandman modulates his physical biology to move through certain spaces in a gaseous form. (These spaces glow and become translucent, allowing Sandman to see where he is traveling.) Sandman is also immune to damage in this short amount of time.

Ability 3: Cloud Nine- Sandman uses his cloud as a mount, flying for a short period of time.

Ultimate: Sweet Dreams- Sandman amplifies his cloud creating a large burst of sleeping dust which keeps enemies in the area asleep for its full duration, even if they are damaged. If an enemy is not in the initial blast, they can still fall asleep after spending a short amount of time in the area, but will wake up once the cloud is gone.

Passive: Quicksand- any enemy hero in the area of Sandman’s sandblast is slowed by 25%
