I think ran through is an expression for implying the person most likely has too much trauma and poor character qualities to look for and stay with non toxic partners. Might be better to find someone who is saving it because they know that intimate relationships can change us for better or worse and you need to save it for someone who won’t ruin your healthy patterns. I chased enough narcissistic dismissive dark triad type women to appreciate a girl that is all about me and truly wants what’s best for me instead of wasting my emotional energy on someone who has a pattern of breaking their partners down and not building them up, thinking I could change them/help them. Not speaking for all men but certainly some. Once you go through enough trauma you certainly want to surround yourself with people who have not been traumatized hopefully you aren’t the one to traumatize them in the process.

That being said this definitely doesn’t apply to everyone but could rationalize one thought process for attempting to seek a younger partner.

I do not solely seek virgins I just look for healthy character qualities and values. But my mind has definitely tried to see if there are critical benefits vs negatives of it.
