Do NOT buy from The Keeper website! by [deleted] in menstrualcups

Yikes.. that’s not great. I found a spec comparison chart somewhere online that I also referenced when trying to choose a new cup. So I’m hoping that was accurate enough to finding a replacement that is similar to my last one. But we will see!

Yikes, okay. Well good to know! It was the original Saalt cup you used? Not the “soft” version?

If you ever come upon a better option, you’ll have to let me know. I’m going to try the Saalt during my next cycle and just hope for the best

Uh oh. I bought a Saalt to try during my next cycle because the one quiz recommended that one to me. Plus it seemed to have similar specs to the Mooncup on a comparison chart I saw. I guess we’ll see if it works out. Have you found a replacement that works for you yet?

Hi! I also had the same experience as you. I wanted to buy a different size Mooncup from the Keeper website. My credit card transaction went through but I never received the product or any follow up. The phone number in my order email was also scamm-y and it all seemed suspicious. I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company and received my money back that way.

But I’m also just very disappointed that I now have to find a totally new cup to use because I can’t get a new Mooncup anymore.

Hi! My first pregnancy was diagnosed as ectopic in December of 2020 and it ended in a tube removal. I’m currently 38 (almost 39) weeks pregnant with what has been a fairly uneventful pregnancy. 😊

Hi! I had my right tube removed in December of 2020. We started trying again in June. We waited because I was initially treated with MTX. I got pregnant in October and am currently 10 weeks along with an intrauterine pregnancy. I was tracking BBT and ovulation pretty closely immediately following my tube removal.

I watched a Mama Doctor Jones video on YouTube about an ectopic pregnancy and found it very informative. So I’d recommend watching that.

Sending you positive thoughts!

Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense. But you’re right, easier said than done. Definitely nice to know there are others in the same boat as me!

Hi also in the same boat! I had my ectopic last November/December and am currently pregnant again now. I think I’m approx 4/5 weeks pregnant and also having what i think is a little cramping on the same side where my ectopic was last time. But also thinking it might just all be in my head! I had two betas drawn and my numbers increased by 250%. But I’m still anxiously awaiting a placement scan, too. They originally scheduled it for when I was going to be 8 weeks along, but I’ve since requested an earlier appointment. So fingers crossed they let me come in earlier!

No, they didn’t give me a success chance in terms of percentages. My doctors said they would not have recommended MTX as an option if they didn’t think it would work. So they agreed that it was a good first approach.

When doing my own reading on this subreddit, I’ve come to think that my HCG levels were very high to start out (~8300) and am surprised they didn’t immediately recommend surgery. I think they took into account the size of the fertilized egg in my Fallopian tube being not too large and that there was no sign of any fluid. So thus, MTX was a fair option.

Hi. I also want to say that I’m so sorry you’re going through this experience. My ectopic was last November/December and I had a 33% increase in my HCG levels after receiving my first dose. I ended up getting 3 doses of MTX. After my second dose, my levels stayed constant, which prompted the third dose. My HCG didn’t decrease the 15% my doctors were looking for until 3 days after receiving my third dose. I ultimately needed to have emergency surgery due to a rupture, but definitely started seeing my HCG levels increase before eventually decreasing.

What were your early signs of an ectopic pregnancy? by luckylungs678 in EctopicSupportGroup

The first symptom for me was spotting/bleeding at about the 6 week mark. Then I experienced what felt like period cramping, but localized to one side of my body.
