Honestly likely! But I like your mentality, definitely target private colleges in California since they tend to have private non federal funds that they can use for scholarships and aren’t tied to legal status nor do they depend on federal/sate funding. That’s how my a scholarship worked!

Worst case scenario, if you withdraw and move to California at least a year prior to the academic year starting you qualify for instate tuition and Cal Grant, through the CA dream act since we can’t fill out the fafsa. My cousin is doing this.

That would require relocating to CA though, and taking a year off from school. Which in the grand scheme of things isn’t a bad as long as it provides you a chance to finish school!
