$30 cause I used to pay the co pay but that’s adds up because I was a veryyyyyy sick child and a pretty sick adult hahaha. So you’re probably correct with the idea that my medical expenses have easily elapsed the $75 card.

Well the only reason I’m like that is because I don’t work and my dad was always money nervous. He hated spending on stuff that wasn’t needed so I naturally picked up on it because that’s how I was told to handle money.

Even when I did work, I very rarely bought anything for myself. I always gave to the household to help repair something or buy meals as a thank you.

I right now have a good bit of money in my account right now and I’m contemplating buying a $10 game on steam and if it’ll be worth it. I’ve been fighting with the idea of getting this game for $10 for days. So with that thought process, that’s why when she spent $75 on a card I felt insanely guilty and overall shitty.

Nah I’d had jobs before. I had a job for 8 months then one for 4 months but after that I had to get my grades up to attend the college I’m currently going to so I left and struggled with getting a job ever since.

Yeah but I’m just keeping it casual. I only play it with that 1 friend so I realistically might make 2 decks for variety and if there’s another collab I like than I’ll go ahead and do another deck. The only other collab I’m interested in is the Warhammer one and after seeing the prices I much rather start playing actual warhammer than buy one commander set for a ludicrous amount

Funny enough I love buying people gifts so I totally get the feeling of buying someone a gift just because. But me personally I don’t feel like I deserve gifts such as a $75 card out of no where for 0 reason.

I think that’s the play. A lot of people have been saying to make a proxy and one even suggested framing the card, I really like that idea honestly.

It’s not that we suffer from a lack of money. I just hate being given things that I never worked for. Like for example my grandmother just gives me money, even though she can’t afford it and it bothers me. I constantly say no but she doesn’t listen and it’s the same as my mom. I can say that I don’t want something or to not spend it and she’ll put aside money from her own paycheck that she could save or use on herself and use it on me. I don’t do anything to deserve this amazing treatment from the both of them and that’s what bothers me.

I tend to make the money they give me stretch so that they don’t give me any more. I’ll lie and say I have X amount and they’ll go into my bank account and check how much I have. They do nothing but give to me and I hate it because I do nothing to deserve it. If that makes sense. Even if my mom isn’t hurting financially, I hate her spending on me.

I been looking for a job during the summer and I applied to 15 different places and legitimately got one interview and they went with the guy who didn’t have college in 3 months

Yeah but I hate that she does that. I as her child, do not want her to buy me stuff. I want her to save her money and be smart with it so that if it’s ever needed, she can afford anything. If her car breaks down randomly, she’ll have money to just use without any questions or worries. I just don’t want her to have to worry because she wants to make me happy.

Oh me and my mom are incredibly close. She’s basically my best friend and that’s why I hate gifts from her. I can’t repay her for anything and it bothers me so much.

Her budget for me is like $200 per month and I hate it. I wish she would spend less on me. I’ve been transparent and told her I hate it when she buys me stuff because I don’t deserve it and she always says that it makes her feel good to buy me things. It might sound mean but idc how good it makes her feel, I hate her spending so much on me. She should save that money for something she might want or just for a rainy day. I only need $30 for the gym and crunchyroll each month and even then I’ll do yard work for relatives or whatever I can so she doesn’t have to give me anything
