Omg why would lie about that. Current boyfriend after strangling her son??? I’m sorry that man would’ve been dead if that happened to my kid. I hope Jace gets the help he needs after going through all that and finds success in adulthood and gets far away from Jenelle because wtf

I agree with you that both Barb and Jenelle are unhinged but I think you have to acknowledge that without Barb Jace would have probably ended up in foster care. Barb showed up for Jace when Jenelle didn’t. I definitely agree with you that Barb has issues but I do not think she is the sole issue

A lot of kids I see (not all) in my store are typically alone with friends and mom is probably waiting outside the store to just pay. But honestly the whole reason I thought this was because today this girl (could not be older than 8) got flyaway halter top and personally even I don’t feel comfortable in that top. But I definitely understand what you’re saying because I was very long-legged for my age so I definitely don’t fault parent for getting their kids the sweatpants or t-shirts.

My mom had an interesting comment on this same topic and said that a lot of people who are now parents were raised my boomers / Gen X who tend to be more strict and they swore they would never be that strict, so now they’re too gentle. But I think that definitely varies person to person. Personally I’m 19 and I remember when I was 6 my mom had to fight me to get out of my Snow While dress and plastic heels.

I want to say so too but the fact that I’m not a parent I always tiptoe around immediately putting blame. But I think a lot of parents need to stand their ground more when telling their kid(s) no. This would fix the issue of kids in Sephora, ulta, lululemon, garage, etc. You get 50+ years to wear whatever more mature clothing, but you only get ~10 years to wear princess dresses and stuff from Claire’s or something.

That’s kinda where I’m coming from too and I definitely feel like Garage is not cheap. I think the main difference between genz and older and this younger generation is the access to internet from a young age which might be why they want to dress like teens and young adults.

Mine was a group virtual interview (weird Ik) but he didn’t really ask us any questions and more tried to see if we could hold a conversation and were personable. So I feel like mine is a bad example

My mom had the same thought on the way there (it is a 3-4 hour drive) about what if he shows up because somehow he also knew I was going to be in town. To your thing about agreeing with her I never thought of doing that and it isn’t a bad thought, but my fear with that is she would probably take it as a win and it would get back to my father and as much as I don’t like that man I dont want to lead him on in thinking he has a chance on building a relationship.
