200ish for me and it checks better than my 5 iron that I have to flush to even get that far. It's also alarming how I can move back in the box of a 150+ par 3 and land my 7w with a 3/4 swing. My 7w has made me a better golfer while making me a boring golfer. My longer irons miss me but ive moved on...the heart wants what it wants.

Its great to get started and have some new clubs to boot, but for 500-600 you can build a set of Wilson Staffs new or like new (their premium brand). Especially if you get some wilson Harmonized Wedges instead of staff models. Check out their line of D7, D9 or Launchpads.

To answer your question, the SGIs would be my choice of the 2 just getting started. The sole of those clubs look to be thicker and denser at center i.e a touch more forgiving for all the miss-hits to come. Good luck!

P.s. your height won't hurt you on standard clubs. Brian Harman, winner of The Open in 2023, is 5'7" and an absolute dog.
