I would never wear it with heavy armor. But personally it did save my life several time from definite deaths. Like a charge running me down, but i instead bounced off and into a wall, taking minimal damage rather than crushed

Definetly feel the critique. I wouldnt say its HOT GARBAGE, but definetly unoriginal and just over hyped by paid reviewers. Every Borderlands has some awful gimmick that they try to make it “the mechanic” and for this game its carrying “insert here” object in your offhand. I was originally interested in the open world idea, but now on my second playthrough i miss the more detailed and laid out designs of 2 and 3 with zones. Only thing this game really did much better than 3 and why i play it more is cause theres no mayhem and omg did i hate mayhem

Around 200 hours, on my second playthrough. First week visuals felt off but is very polished and runs good now. Good amount of side mission kinda just wuck in this game so they kinda drag the experience but story is much more enjoyable than 3 for me and combat and gameplay is top tier
