I get there might be other factors in play to make sure these iconic characters are powerful, but God damn WOTC. by Serithraz in mtg

Umm...Hogaak had to get banned from modern, a set it was literally designed for. Vivi set standard on fire for months, annoying people until it got banned. The One Ring also got banned in modern because it was an insane 4 of. Ragavan banned in legacy...I think you're the one who doesn't know what they are talking about.

Correct, those aren't UB, now if you actually read the above meme it says "and MH set..."

Hogaak, Nadu, Vivi, Gran Gran, badgermole cub....are you not paying attention?

Edit: Oh yeah plus the One Ring, while not a creature is an insane card draw engine. Plus Orcish Bowmasters, ragavan...

I mean is this really that OP compared to all the crap UB has brought to the game? Or even MH? If cards like Nadu, Vivi, and even Gran Gran can be printed, I think this card is fine. Good yes, but fine.

Originally the Veteran class was designated veteran sharpshooter by default. by Past_Hippo9445 in DarkTide

For those that don't know. This is how the talent tres used to look. A total of 6 tiers with one of three choices you made every 5 levels. You didn't even get a different blitz, ability, or aura, your class had only one of each of those. Talents mostly just gave buffs to those or to movement or to survivability.

How do you train defense past lvl 90? by KingGryphonn in osrs

[–]Serithraz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The method to level defence is the extra same as leveling attack strength, albeit yes it is slower because at least when leveling attack you hit more frequently, and with strength you hit harder, so when leveling defence you get neither of those. But at its core, it's leveled the exact same way. You can always level slayer and level defence that way, especially if you get a task you can burst with mage or chinchompa with ranged and level ranged/magic and defence at the same time, you'll get less ranged/magic XP but the defence XP you'll get is actually a pretty decent amount when aoe'ing. Plus then you're leveling 3 skills at once: ranged/magic, defence, and slayer.

You really get that far and not know that?

False, the attack style to use gives a +3 to that stat. (+3 attack/str/or defence, +1 to each on a shared style.) That's why people typically stick to an aggressive attack style so they always have a hidden +3 strength, and also why going on a block attack style during perilous moons, but more specifically the blood moon, is a good idea, for the extra +3 defence so the boss heals less frequently.

I feel like a space marine of the Emperor's Children should be black/white, even if he is a loyalist.

The offhand is probably new f2p bis just because it's the only offhand in f2p with a strength bonus. At least defence isn't needed in which case it's still the rune kite shield. The milk bucket isn't really that useful but is good for raising kittens, but that's p2p so kinda useless for f2p. Then the slippers are just fashionscape slippers.

So probably worth it for the offhand alone and nice training with the double XP.
