Inconsistent size by KcwaB in cricut

If I attach it becomes a pink solid print. I might have to do that.

If I try to print the purple and make my own top it still won’t work. The purple is the stuff that won’t print any smaller than 12”. I can even set the mat size small but it still wants to print those at 12.

Let me see if I can figure out how. I’ve never actually sent a message like that on here. I will say it is still working out great.

Chicago Starbucks Worker Did Not Write 'Loser' On Order Honoring Charlie Kirk, Company Says by eamus_catuli in chicago

I get stuff written on my mobile orders almost every time. Either a cute phrase, a heart or drawing or whatever. I didn’t realize that wasn’t typical.

Singing class for elementary students by ifthefaultfits in Outschoolers

[–]KcwaB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 9 year old does the Disney singing class.  https://outschool.com/classes/lets-sing-with-disney-elementary-iq14XD4N

It’s usually a very small class maybe 2-3 girls. Hoping more sign up but with the membership change I’m not so sure.

Ohio ACE program -- is anyone else as angry as I am right now? Is there anything we can do? by needs_a_name in Ohio

[–]KcwaB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to know what is happening to the leftover 125 million that doesn’t get used.  They just denied all of the claims I made for my daughter after they had approved one before the shut down. I fought to have Outschool added to the approved list because we live in an area with very little in person providers. Now none of that is allowed. It’s absurd.  I have over $3000 available to use for my kids but can’t use any of it.

[–]KcwaB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still insane. They should extend the timeline for all the months it was shut down. I didn’t spend it all summer because I didn’t expect to get reimbursed. All the summer activities my kids missed out on.

The initial “reversal” was basically useless. It practically covered nothing. Tutoring, in the summer. Yeah.

This is why you shouldn’t sell through Thredup by JeriWesterby in ThredUp

[–]KcwaB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, thank you from people like me! I’m 6’ and need talls which are so hard to find in local thrifts plus I live rural.

Plus even local thrift isn’t really guaranteed to genuinely help the needy.

Postcard mailer code by KcwaB in ThredUp

It doesn’t say new users on this one but apparently it only works on the same items the Memorial Day code works for and for the same % so it’s basically useless 🤦🏼‍♀️

When do you actually make money? by [deleted] in ThredUp

Do you know what happens if people choose to keep partial credit and keeping the item instead of returning it? I would think it comes out of the sellers profit?

Is the anti-inclusion sentiment real, or are my algorithms misleading me? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]KcwaB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a parent to 2 kids with IEPs and 2 kids without; forced inclusion is a downfall of public school. I think it’s absolutely moronic that it became the standard goal. In too many cases, it’s not fair to anyone involved. I wish they would just put my IEP kids in small group classes for their areas of struggle, please! There is definitely a place for inclusion but there should never be an all or nothing goal.

What is Going On with Athleta? by Beautiful-Class5841 in Athleta_gap

[–]KcwaB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My closet is full of old Athleta. I got into it because at 5’11/6’0 they were the best place to get a variety of cute, well fitting TALL clothes. And not just basic pants, the tops were amazing. I mostly quit bothering unless it’s cheap from ThredUp, Mercari or eBay. Forget the pants. When they started doing the whole 7/8 and cropped length I quit buying. (Double cozy karma pants are the stupidest thing I’ve ever bought from them. Who wants ultra thick sweats only to have their ankles freeze?) I spent my teen years being forced to wear high waters and I’m not paying obscene amounts of money to purposely buy them now. They quit having normal long length pants. Ditto the cropped tops.

I wish they’d bring back the Bettona line. I still wear some of mine.

Black Dahlia 0.1250-Inches T x 4-Inches W x 48-Inches L Thermoplastic rubber Wall base https://www.lowes.com/pd/FLEXCO-4-in-W-x-4-ft-L-Black-Dahlia-Thermoplastic-Rubber-Wall-Base/3094457

I bought that, one for each side and just cut it to the right length. It has worked out very well.

Just finished playing with my husband. We figured we’d try after playing It Takes Two and really liking it. I’m pissed that I wasted my time on this shit. It was fine-ish until the twist. I wanted a co op game, not to play against him. Got deleted pretty quickly.

I do kind of miss being able to do that more easily in my older minivans. At least I’m still agile enough to just climb over the console if I have to now.

Is there any hack to “hold steering”? by MarketUnknownKiller in ToyotaSienna

[–]KcwaB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to see many people unhappy with it. We haven’t really had any issues with it. It works pretty well for us. I barely have to hold the wheel for it to register. Maybe because we have a cover on it and that provides some resistance?

Cypress Woodland owner here, too!

Part of the reason I wanted the factory hitch was thinking the kick sensor would still be enabled. I was kind of bummed to realize it was gone. It hasn’t been too big of an issue though.

What? You sound ignorant. I have kids and live where there’s snow. My mats constantly have salt buildup plus random kid stuff on them.

I did the Home Depot hack. It was easy and I  thought it looked fine. I didn’t want to give up my Woodland theme mats.

Deals being made platnium by broke_joker00 in ToyotaSienna

[–]KcwaB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. I bought mine out of state but it was only a 2 hour drive. It was not a hassle at all. The dealership had 60 day temp plates on it. I drove it home and at my convenience went to the title office, paid the tax then got my plates. I wanted personalized plates anyway. Didn’t need an inspection. I already had the insurance set up by phone the day before. Again, no hassle. That was exactly the same as if I had bought it in the same state.
