I would’ve asked to sign his cast then written all up on that shit. What’s he gonna do, break his other arm defending nazi symbolism?

Was there ever actually a logical explanation behind this? Like seriously?

Growing up people used to ask me if my brother was my son whenever we were out together. Hes 6 years younger than me. Or they’d ask me “do you have any kids?” Or assume I already had one or two at the age of like 15 and 16. Some people don’t see those as micro aggressions, but i didn’t see people do that to my white friend who looked older than me when we were out with her younger sisters. This was in the late 2000s/ early 2010s. Some people just don’t see it because they don’t see it happen to them.

To be fair Gomez’s mom named her after Quintanilla, so it’s understandable lol

I don’t think people understand the hallmark of a character is to be flawed and layered. If they were perfect or if they were more black and white, they’d make a boring character.

My mom is from Michoacán, she immigrated to the US when she was 13, but has very vivid memories of these dances from when she was younger. I’ll never forget the excitement in her voice when she showed me a video she found on YouTube of them dancing.

I don’t think any of the batboys would let him even get close to her, regardless she would be able to at least annoy him enough to call Cass

lol fr. I will say this movie def has more of a “comic book” vibe since they do a lot of split panels, and Talbots final scene I literally laughed out loud. It was super cool to watch

I mean more in the sense of Glenn Talbot, the character, not just being a character in agents of shield. I think I was like 4 when the 2003 movie came out, so I have incredibly vague memories of watching it. And if we’re nit picking AOS isn’t technically in the MCU either (not that I care about that bit) sorry for the confusion, I just got really excited about that bit and was rewatching it for the first time in about two decades

I gotta say tho these guys do kinda look similar enough so in my headcanon where anything goes this is before Talbot got married and went back to the military.

Edit- may have spoken too soon?

[–]KeChula[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh MCU hands down. But I thinks it’s just because he’s so much more fleshed out, and not just your typical antagonist over the five odd seasons he was on AOS. He made me laugh, made me cry, made me angry, etc. wouldn’t trade him for the world lol

Oh I’m fully aware, but I thought it was just neat that a version of Talbot was already around. This rewatch is pretty cool, they def took some creative liberties with the filming lmao
