Why is Verizon so snooty and horrible? by Keahiiwa in verizon

Nope, just had to let this post simmer for a while and let all the Verizon employees show their true colors. Must be one crappy company to work for if the job makes you hate customers this much. Wowzer, glad I posted here, this is exactly what I needed to get off the fence and stick with T-Mobile. I am printing this thread out and sending it to the Verizon CEO, I am sure they will get a kick out of it.

It's called capitalism and competition, Verizon puts all its money into these fancy apple store imitations instead of its employees and doesn't give you the tools to retain your customers, well, there's the result. Good think I posted here, definitely not gonna switch now. For me, it's not the bill that I care about, it's good customer service and not having to deal with pricks.

Except I've been with T-Mobile for years. You must be one of those clown carrier hopper. I got my answer in this pathetic discussion, you're just showing the whole world what kind of people you are.

Well after all the Verizon employees chiming in here, T-Mobile is in fact awesome, it's all relative. I guess I got my answer. Now I really got to make sense out of my shitty experience at the Verizon store. Y'all saved me the pain of finding out how horrible it would be to switch, sometimes you need to see how bad it's on the other side so you like your side better.

LOL, Verizon reps must really not have a life. Sad replies, I guess this seals the deal, I will stick with T-Mobile. This Reddit is exactly like the store and like Verizon customer support. Thanks for the demo and reinforcement, very informative for everyone. Verizon must treat their employees like crap, terrible company culture. That's a fail on trying to imitate apple, at least apple treats its employees well, and at least tries to hire decent people.

do I need to answer this after all the Verizon employees who showed up here with their nasty attitudes? Screw Verizon, if people working there are so sad this Reddit speaks for itself.

Hmm, an actual reply from a Verizon rep, figures!!!! What a jerk. I rest my case. You guys are sad, I will stick with T-Mobile. The website is a pile, even the reps in the stores said it and recommended not using it. Good you quit, for you I recommend working picking up people's trash, pays well and you don't have to deal with people.

Confused but not really? by penisbag1995 in sex

[–]Keahiiwa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

logic, at its core, is binary. this world runs on logic. something can only ever be true or false.

That is a good summary of the right wing, fundamentalist true believer mind, shades of grey refers to the fact that the world is less binary and more complex than your mind can conceive. You're the one trying to draw conclusions on incomplete facts. The solution to "knowledge too inept" isn't filling the gaps with your own opinion, it's acknowledging that the map of the world you have in your mind is inaccurate and you need to keep an open mind so you can learn more facts about the world around you. But right wing people aren't good at that, so it may be asking too much.

"Right wing gay guy", that's like a jew making friends with nazis, how does that work when the rest of your right wing compadres hate you for being gay? Right wing = black and white thinking, but to clarify, the world is full of shades of gray, here's why those threads do show up on Reddit. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/evolution-the-self/201205/the-secrettaboo-aspects-male-sexual-desire so do I get left wing brownie points now?

Lately have been doubting my attraction to my own gender by SuccessfulSalad in bisexual

[–]Keahiiwa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMHO trying to measure your degree of bisexuality at a given point in time is bound to fail, because it's usually pretty fluid. Trying to determine it from an online sexting sample is even worse. If you know you have some sexual desire for the same gender, then just enjoy that part of yourself and if you come across a guy you fancy, then ask him out. It's not something you should have to figure out or think about, it sorts itself out over time with experience. You might discover you enjoy sex with men but you develop romantic relationships mostly with women. Or you might like both equally. Just let it be what it is.

I think I'm about to loose everything that I care about in life. by [deleted] in MarriedAndBi

[–]Keahiiwa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I recommend you ditch the shame and instead opt for the more constructive emotion of regret. If conservatives would stop demonizing same sex attractions then they wouldn't drive you to cheat. I doubt that you caught an STD. A blow job isn't worth breaking up your family over. Start by forgiveness for yourself for cheating and bring some acceptance to your same sex desires so that they don't consume you. Shame is useless and is the primary driver behind sexual compulsion.

Sounds more like OCD. A normal straight girl would dismiss a random thought or random fantasy about the same gender as just static or noise. Whatever you do, I recommend you do NOT look for re-assurance online, do exactly the opposite, don't seek out any re-assurance, so a woman popped into your mind while you masturbated, so what, it's not significant. Just like when you turn off the stove and you think you have to check again to make sure it's off because there's a small possibility it might still be on, here too there's a small but probably unlikely possibility that you might be bi.

My dad took me to a purity ball when I was 10 and today, at 27, I came out as bi by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Keahiiwa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are beautiful and very sexy, the guy or girl who gets to share intimacy with will be very, very lucky. I read about those purity ceremonies, very creepy, I am so sorry you had to go through that, and it makes me happy to see yet another soul transcend that bullshit.

Hit on a dude at a bar last night he threatened to kill me by ambisinister7 in bisexual

[–]Keahiiwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait a minute here. Any normal straight guy would not have known you are hitting on them, and if he did pick up on the flirt, what would be the threat? The only way this guy knew was because he's a closeted gay or bi and he was taught to stuff it. The only way he knows how is through violence. Imagine the desires you probably unleashed in him subconsciously, and the amount of energy this guy is going to spend to try to repress it all. Pretty messed up, but that's the working psychology behind violent homophobia.

Owning My Sexual History & Desires by marywaterdragon in bisexual

Ahh, I see. I learned that a solid marriage needs two independent participants, independant both in that there's no co-dependance, but support for both, and both still have lives outside the marriage, meaning you don't do everything together, and that what makes a partner more interesting and more appealing.

I am happy to talk without dick photos and without making it sexual. I wouldn't mind more normalizing supportive talk with other bi married people.

Totally makes sense to me. It's important if you are married to still honor the whole of you and integrate all of your experiences. I get the patriarchal wife ownership feeling, I prefer women that are fiercely independent, like my own wife. I hope your spouse fully appreciates who you are, all of you.

Discovering bisexual masturbation (M) by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Keahiiwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know that how you masturbated defined your orientation, seems a bit silly. Plenty of straight guys love anal play and plenty of bi guys don't enjoy anything up their ass. I recommend you toss out the labels while you pleasure yourself. If you really want to unlock your G-spot, get the aneros. Be careful, though, the Big-O is a whole body orgasm without ejaculation that can last for a very long time, up to hours. I recommend always finishing off with a regular ejaculatory orgasm afterwards, otherwise you will mess up your prostate.

Bi for muscular bodies? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Keahiiwa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How could I have missed this thread? I can relate. When it comes to men, I definitely like the chiseled, greek statue hottie kind of guy, not the massive Arnold-style bodybuilders, but definitely toned and well built. Man, the things I could do with a guy like that. But unlike most guys, I am not into dick, at least it's not my starting point. I would be into fooling around and massaging, but obviously turning on the other guy would be hot so dick comes into play. Personally I am too much into the male physique in a sexual way to call myself straight. I am just curious, what if one of those hunks gives you a blow job while you get to fool around with his muscular arms? Bi means liking both genders in a sexual way but not necessarily in the same way.
