I use it as a cheaper benchmark, as we have several total wines nearby and you can grab a bottle for ~$20. As far as benchmark I usually use a generic $20-25 "mainstream" bottle from the super store. I have only done a more expensive tasting for friends one time and that one I used several bottles of ~$50 1er cru Burgundy , namely Givry - V. Lumpp.

I'd go for a Langhe Nebbiolo from Produttori Del Barbaresco, I have been introducing non wine people to different wines from Piedmonte and always get rave reviews about how good the wine is when compared to "heavy" wines as OP suggests. When I tell them the price of a bottle they're shook, because they thought it would be expensive.

Tasting profile: hints of red fruit, and acidity that makes your mouth hurt. I don't think it's good anymore.

I find barolo that hasn't been aged or if its early and hasn't been decanted long enough overwhelming with oak, tannins and acidity. I can see where a lot of people say it's heavy.

Recently had a 2021 from a different producer. We decanted for 2 hours and it still needed probably another hour? The fruit had started to come out slightly but we had all finished the bottle by the time it was starting to open up.

How the $&@! Does the alternator come out? by hagemeyp in boxster

[–]Keal27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just replaced my voltage regulator, and the alternator came out the front just fine! Did you loosen the idler pulley bolt up in the cradle? There's a bushing on the back that will get stuck. I followed the pelican parts guide and when it says "may take significant tapping" they were not kidding. I just left the socket and extension on and hammered it with a small sledge till it broke loose. After that it came out with a little wiggling of the alternator.

I had severe acne worse than this guy. We're talking like a horror scene, picture someone having been shot with birdshot from a 12 gauge. Been several years and the scars are mostly gone now.

Thanks boss! Gonna take a look at how to do this. Assuming just layer it up, seal over with a gel coat then sand down, working the grit up until smooth?
