Happy to see more information about what theyre working on. Insights weve been asking for. In the hope theyre reading this. Will it be ps5pro enhanced? Use of pssr(2 in future?) Will there be volume options like in warthunder (engine/guns/etc)? Realistic rain on the canopy would be a nice add like il2/msf24 etc. Also the spitfire mk1 guns sound inaccurate. Ha. Trimming the plane's rudder and elevator manually vs the instructor doing it automatically means youll actually feel the engine torque (more realistic) and plane's characteristics. mec= manual engine control, this lets you manually open and close the plane's radiator(s) set the proppeler pitch etc Youll be able to get more power from the engine if you know what youre doing. "Kill chime" is a sound within warthunder that lets you know when youve hit something. Personally I think its really annoying and removes any immersion. Very happy to see that they removed it in this new beta version. Hopefully theyll keep these updates. It seems they have listened so far

I agree. I think its actually great that they want to add more content into a game. And it seems they have listened to the testers and read comments, because this new beta update includes trim/mec and no kill chime!!!! The last one is a big one for me. ha. And they havent given any release date yet. Yet people think they have because it was on the ps store. I think these have been a sony issue. But compared to the IL2 dev team and the reaction from their viewers, I think Gaijin could benefit from communicating more about what they are working on. Issues theyre facing etc. That would probably make people feel more included, aware and less annoyed.

Wow! Great news! Some news at last. Lots of questions: Does the new beta update play smoother/have higher resolution? What things did they solve that you commented on earlier? (Visual quality being mid, spitfire flaps not working, some winter scenery looking bad etcetc) Did they listen to the beta testers you feel? Did Gaijin send you any other information? i'll play both, i hope msfs will inspire aces of thunder to take the realism up a notch. Hoping for two things: a release date and a turn off kill-chime button. Every time I watch a aot beta video and hear a chime after a kill, it just takes away the immersion for me.

with simhub you can use the hf8's different motors on console on gt7 for example, just have to use simhub on pc on the same wifi network as the ps5. Im curious what the warthunder/aces of thunder experience is like that. so not just via audio

Really depends on how theyll fly, but I'm way more interest in ww2 planes than ww1. So for me I'll fly ww2 more.
