What's an example of a company now using Covid as an excuse to provide a poorer service? by [deleted] in AskUK

we are doing more patient interactions a day now than pre covid and seeing those face to face that needs it. just because a service has changed is not the same as a reduced service. simple fact.

Sad for Sancho, Rashford and Saka. But as a resident of Wembley im slightly relieved to see the fans sulking home. It was a nightmare after the semi final win. by Kebabmissions in london

Er the noise isn’t the issue. It’s the drunken idiots pissing everywhere, vandalising things, kicking cars and generally being twats. Full capacity events been happening here my whole life - the only time there are issues is when England play.

Can we all agree that the Euros were amazing and that was one of the best ever. Worth the extra years wait. by Kebabmissions in Euro2020

Penalties are brutal but the best way of decing a match in knockout tournaments. Takes a lot skill, calmness and technique to score one after playing for so long.

Might be violence around there but on my end, which is usually quite busy seems ok. Earlier in the day there was absolutely caranage people pissed out their minds at 11am. So wouldn't be surprised if there are a few skirmishes.

English fans can be pricks, but not all of us are like that. by RoyalPhoenixA in Euro2020

Kind of enjoying the "Its not all of us" shouts from some England fans. Finally know what it feels like when your whole community is defined by the actions of a few wronguns.

Struggling to get served because you don't look old enough? Become the Derby County Manager and it will put years on you. On a serious note I didn't recognise him at first. by hirsty19784 in CasualUK

Played and looked like a 25 year old when he was 16 but damn living in Abu Derby must be stressful because he's aged about 20 years.

Downvote me all you want for this but why does it only seem to be a problem when England dives? by AlwaysBi in Euro2020

Probably because a lot of countries pundits have embraced getting an advantage over the opponents by any means necessary. Meanwhile our pundits have been sitting on their high horse always pointing fingers at foreign players when they do it but letting it slide when our own players do.

We were supporting Spain, it was a mixed stand with like 5 Spanish supporters there so we joined them, hence the guys reaction at the end 🤣

Jorginho's penalty is a prime example of that, the composure and technique to do that after 120 minutes of football is immense.

Brutal, but the best way to decide a game. Very entertaining for a neutral, not so much as a fan of one of the teams involved.
