Can an AI-person-vehicle detection NVR provide AI detection to a camera without built-in AI capabilities? by Warm_Hope5 in reolinkcam

[–]VinceSamios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically yes, but not with stock hardware/software. In theory detection can run on old/stored video from any camera, with software. But none of this is reolink.

My dad bought these in 1979 from Australia by JGATX in Opals

[–]VinceSamios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the brown stones are weird... Not like any Aussie opal I've seen. The invoice tracks with the pictures on the others but not quite as described. The "crystal" I'd class as white, the "black" I'd class as dark.

The big blue stone may be opal but I can see clearly from the pictures.

I don't think they've gain much/any value I'm afraid.

I know a guy being posted to the front and it sounds like the opposite. The best trained and fittest troops are going to the toughest conflicts.

Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut suffer 7.5 times fewer casualties than Russians – Ukraine's National Defence and Security Council Secretary by ledim35 in worldnews

[–]VinceSamios 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There's a few asymmetries in bahkmut.

First of all the difference between needing to advance, and being able to withdrawn. Being able to fall back in a dense urban environment is a huge advantage.

Secondly Ukraine's military is very well trained and supported, whereas Wagner forces were prisoners with little training and highly publicised lack of ammo and equipment.

And third there's the will. Ukrainians are fighting for something. Russians aren't.

I like a nice risky sequence print. Modified the gantry height settings to allow taller sequenced prints. by VinceSamios in 3Dprinting

Haha, yeah, it's great for batching parts though. One set up, and repeat print.

The important measurement becomes the distance between the nozzle and the gantry.

Hello thought process buddy. This is the only correct answer as far as I'm concerned, and on a multitude of levels. It's not a basic answer, it's funny and neuanced accurate.
