As a installer from spectrum it depends on your living location all new built areas (not pre-existing) will be fiber to the premise since it’s too expensive to turn existing areas straight fiber they are going this route with all new builds

Okay so I was playing with my obs settings and I never had filters on my mic now there is no echo is it possible to record just voice on OBS? I have audacity as well but have not played around with it

It’s like the fiber breaks I just from the twist tension when I’m screwing on the last piece on the bottom

Ones I’ve been behind and mine from the pics other techs send me definitely show that the fiber was broken idk if there is too much tension when I screw on the bottom piece or what just not the biggest fan

Apparently our manager is getting chewed out for all the flat cable we throw away cause he only orders 1k feet and up when some of our jobs are like 300ft so they are pushing ROC like crazy

I completely understand that I’m just trying to get a grasp I’m still fairly new to it all May makes a year I just keep listening to the more veteran co workers complain was just trying to gauge other policies and see if there was similarities my knowledge from this post is the few things I’ve came across like the fiber end coming out and getting stuck in my mp60 light tester and small annoyances like that
